This was such a mess.
I rubbed my hand down my face as I headed straight to the living room. I didn't expect Nadia to blow up like that—I've never seen her blow up like that.
The whole situation wasn't under my control. I wasn't completely all there that night, and if Tev hadn't helped me out, lord knows she would've take advantage of me.
"Long time no see" a woman's voice said from beside me
"Ruby? What are you doing here?" I questioned scrunching up my brows as I finally recognized the woman.
"I'm here for my cousin's bachelorette party actually when one of the players invited me up" she nodded
"Well congratulations to you cousin" I slurred slightly before taking a slow sip of my drink. Everything was hazy as hell right now.
"Thank you on her behalf" she said laughing lightly "but look at you! You look so good tonight" she said edging closer to me
"Uh yeah thanks" I said as I watched her lick her lips before downing a shot
"You know what? I think I should probably be heading out" I slurred
"What? I just got here" Ruby pouted as her hands ran up and down my legs
"Yeah, but I really should-" I started
"You really should stay. It's been a long time since we've seen each other and I miss the fun we used to have together" she said into my ear
I knew what was happening, but I was so out of it.
"Ruby I have a girlfriend now, so there will be none of that" I said chuckling as I felt myself blacking out a little
"She doesn't have to know. We could just head out just the two of us for all time sake?" She persuaded before placing her lips on mine.
I quickly moved my head after it had happened "Ruby please get off me" I said as I tried to push her away. She wasn't budging
"C'mon Hunter, don't be like that" she said pouting. There was once upon a time I would've gave into that. Ruby always had a way of persuading you to do what she wanted.
"Aye Imma need you to get off my boy, he's got a girl" Tev said coming seemingly out of nowhere
"Yeah, what he said" I slurred
"Man get yo ass up Hunter, we are leaving" Tev said grabbing my arm pulling me up from my seat swiftly. The motion causing me to almost topple over, he easily balanced me out causing me to snort laughing.
"You're such a goooood friend Tevin" I said lazily patting his chest "what would I do without you"
"We need to get your stupid ass some water asap" he said shaking his head.
