Anakin hugged Padmé close kissing her. Finally after all these months, they were together.

"I've missed you Padmé," he told her once they had broken apart.

"There were whispers...that you'd been killed," she muttered staring into his eyes, happy that he was back and that he was safe.

"I'm alright," Anakin replied to reassure her.

Suddenly, he felt something, like a small tug in the Force. He ignored it for the moment, not wanting to ruin the reunion.

Then it happened again, more violently. Padmé stumbled.

"Ani?" she asked worriedly, having felt a sudden pull that caused to lose her balance. She watched her husband, having seen him do the same thing, and having had stabilized them both.

"The Force," Anakin muttered expanding his senses as he tried to trying to figure out what was going on. "Something's happening."

The next tug seemed to cause the world to drop out from beneath them and they went through a tunnel of some sort. They landed in a dark alley, Anakin barely being able to keep both of them falling as he regained his footing. He inhaled the crisp air as he tried to figure out what happened.

What in the nine Corillian hells was that?

Then Anakin felt a huge fluctuation in the Force and immediately placed himself between where it was and Padmé. There was a flash of light and they were no longer alone.

"Obi-Wan?" Anakin asked relaxing as he sensed his lifelong friend.

"What was that?" Padmé asked.

"I don't know. Anyone know where we are?" Obi-Wan asked looking around as he tried to sense the area around him, noting the fact that Anakin and Padmé were the only people with him despite the fact Mace had just been with him.

"No idea master."

"Anakin.... Do you sense that?" Obi-Wan asked, his voice shaky. Anakin immediately fell into the Force wondering what Obi-Wan was worried about. What he found shocked him to his core.

"I sense nothing," Anakin finally replied, trying to go over again and find something. "Life forms, but the Jedi...."

"Nothing," Obi-Wan said. He was right. Anakin couldn't sense any of the many Jedi he knew besides Obi-Wan. Even Yoda.

The only good thing he could gather was that there didn't seem to be any Sith around.

"What is it?" Padmé asked.

"Besides Obi-Wan, I can't sense anyone else, which would only be possible if they were.... all dead," Anakin told her.

"We need to figure out where we are," she said.

"Hey, you okay?" a voice at the entrance to the alley asked, a dim light in her hand.
