Luna was beginning to panic. She had been waiting at the hideout for what felt like forever. When she had first arrived, there was no one there. She had figured the others were out and would be back fairly quickly and tried to talk herself out of worrying, but when she had moved the cats into the hide out and someone still had shown up, she began to freak out as logic began to argue with her belief.
Maybe she had imagined it all. They weren't real.
No, they were real, they just weren't here.
She was imagining things.
They were here.
She continued to argue with herself, logic slowly crush her belief. She tried to reach out through the Force to see if anyone was around, but by the time she finally managed to sensed something, she had given up. Luna didn't notice when one of the presences tried to respond to her proddings. She had given up hope.
Luna felt as if there was a enormous weight on her chest as she tried to hold back tears, a few slipping out. She had imagined it all.
Ashla and kittens sensed this and the continuously tried to get her attention to make her feel better. They managed to get a small smile from Luna as the kittens climbed on her and kept looking up at her while Ashla rubbed up on Luna.
"Thanks guys, but I don't want to play," she muttered as she finally stood up. There was no real reason to stay if there was no one here. Luna could just go back to the house and work on her costume....
At that thought she sat back down. Why bother?
Luna watched as one of the kittens did something and gave a small smiled at how cute it was. She remembered the sketchbook in her backpack, and since she couldn't really think of anything else to do to try and get her mind off of her obvious hallucinations, she got out her sketchbook, a pencil, and her old beat up ipod.
She put her earbuds in and turned up the volume as she began to draw and subconsciously sing along.
Because of this, Luna didn't notice that Anakin, Padmé, and Obi-Wan had arrived until a shadow blocked her light. She looked up to find Anakin standing over her saying something.
Luna yanked the earbuds out of her ears.
"Where have you all been?" she asked, cutting Anakin off from whatever he had been saying.
