"This is an awful idea," Han muttered as he, Chewie, Leia, and Padmé stood in front of the huge door that opened into Jabba's palace. They had landed the Falcon in a semi-hidden location that was a distance from the palace. Threepio had been left to guard the ship and to contact the Rebellion if they were out of contact for more than twelve hours. Han didn't feel too confident about leaving Goldenrod behind to guard his ship, but unfortunately it was either the droid or no one as Padmé had helpfully pointed out. "If things go bad...."

"I'm coming with you, and that's that," Leia replied, hotly before glancing at her mother, whose face was hidden under the hood of a cloak. "How about you?"

"If you're going, I am as well.... Let's get moving, standing out here isn't helping anyone," Padmé replied.

"For the record: I have a bad feeling about this," Han said before knocking on the door.

"That makes two of us," Leia muttered. Padmé looked at her daughter concerned, knowing from experience that Force sensitives getting bad feelings generally never had anything good follow.

Before Padmé could ask for more clarification, an eye had appeared, poking out of a hole in the door. Something spoke in an unfamiliar language before the eye disappeared and the door began to rise.

It was too late to turn back now.
