Luna hit the floor hard. She waited a moment, deciding to let her other senses gather what they could before she opened her eyes.

It was cool, and there wasn't much light for her eyelids to block out. She was probably laying in a shadow. She heard low voices echoing around her.

Luna opened her eyes and slowly sat up to find that she was surrounded by columns somewhere that looked relatively familiar. The outside-ish area of the Senate Building.

Padmé had managed to grab her sleeve just before she, dragging Luna along with her, was transported anywhere, but they had been ripped apart in the time tunnel.

Hopefully they had only ended up a little aways from each other. If Luna was still in the Imperial time peroid....

She was shaken from her thoughts as she heard a voice. A horribly familiar voice.

"Are you sure you didn't see anything? Go check that area over there," the voice of Palpatine ordered from just around the corner.

Luna scrambled to her feet and grabbed her bag before ducking further into the shadows as a red robed guard came around the corner, followed by Palpatine's entourage.

No, no, no, no, no, Luna repeated to herself over and over again as she ducked behind a pillar, hugging her backpack to her chest. She tried to make herself disappear from the Force, going as far as to attempt to cut herself off.

"There is nothing here Chancellor," said an unfamiliar voice. Luna would have gone weak with relief at Palpatine's title if she wasn't a handful of yards away from the man.

She waited a few moments in silence.

"Very well," Palpatine finally said. Luna heard them walk away. She waited a few more moments before releasing the breath she had been unconsciously holding as she sunk down the piller.

"Praise the Force almighty," she breathed, turning her face to the ceiling as she closed her eyes.
