"What was that about?" Obi-Wan asked, glancing back to where they had just come from.

"Nothing of importance," Luna replied, sighing. She already knew there was going to be a very difficult day at school tomorrow, unless Elise was scared enough to talk Henderson and Ben out of whatever they were going to be planing. Very unlikely, she'd probably encourage it.

Luna was not looking forward to Monday.

"Nothing of importance?" Anakin repeated, not believing it for a single second.

"Let me rephrase: Nothing of importance to you."

"Really? Because she and her friend seemed pretty keen on beating you up. I could sense that clear as day."

"That's nothing new," Luna muttered.

"What did you say?" Padmé asked.

"Nothing. Can we just drop this?"

"Not until you tell us what's going on," Anakin replied, grabbing her arm and forcing Luna to stop walking and look at him. Luna sighed.

"Bullies. Can we please drop it?"

"Bullies?" Padmé repeated, looking at Luna surprised.

"All schools have them," Luna replied, shrugging as she tried to play it off. "It's no big deal, so could we all just forget about what just happened?"

"Wait until school? What do you think is going to happen?" Obi-Wan asked, repeating what Luna had told Elise to do.

"The worst thing they can do is give me another black eye," Luna muttered before mentally face palming at the looks the three gave her. She let out a long sigh. "I said that out loud, didn't I?"

"Yep," Anakin replied. "Now, what's this about a black eye?"

"It happened a bit ago, don't worry about it."

"How long is a bit ago?"

"Uh...." Luna dropped off, not really wanting to answer that question.

"Luna."

"Friday," she muttered, looking at the ground. Almost immediately, Padmé had placed her hand under Luna's chin forcing her to look up as Padmé studied Luna's face.

"Your wearing makeup," Padmé noted, gently running a finger over one of the semi-concealed areas. Despite her gentleness, Luna still flinched when Padmé's finger came into contact with one of the more sensitive bruises. "Why were you hiding them?"

"So no one would notice, not that most people would," Luna replied as Padmé let her go. "It's not usually the best idea for adults to get involved with bullies. It only make it worse. I learned that a long time ago. Can we please just drop the subject now?"

Padmé sighed. "Fine. Let's go."
