Anakin awoke to a knock on his door. He inadvertently groaned before carefully getting out of bed as to not wake his wife who was still sound asleep.

When he open the door, he wasn't completely surprised to find Luke on the other side having sensed his presence.

"Sorry if I woke you," Luke said apologetically, taking in his father's sleepy appearance. He was still working on the fact his father had time travel, but Luke was excited to begin to get to know Anakin. Which was why he was here.

"No, it's fine," Anakin replied. "I'm guessing there's a reason?"

"Yeah, I'm supposed to go scouting for a location for a new base and was wondering if you wanted to come along. Padmé and Obi-Wan are welcome too."

"Sure, I'll come," Anakin said, easily seeing the reason Luke had come and grateful for the chance to get to know his son. "When are you leaving?"

"In a few hours."

"I'll be there."

"Luke is doing what? He's still recovering!" Padmé objected after Anakin had explained what he was going to be doing with Luke.

"It's what the Alliance asked him to do. It should be relatively simple, and I'm going with him. We'll be fine," Anakin replied.

"Anakin, we still barely know what's going on in this time period!"

"And Luke will be with me to help with blending in. Besides, I'm fairly sure I know how to keep a low profile."

"How long is it going to last?"

"A few days depending upon what's there from what I understand. We just need to see if there is a large Imperial presence on the planet."

"And what am I supposed to do during that period of time?" Padmé asked, somewhat angry with her husband for leaving her in what was a very messed up future.

"I don't know! Get to know Leia?" Anakin suggested. He wanted to get to know his daughter too, but there was no way that he was letting Luke go on a mission alone. He was also not allowing Padmé to come along, not knowing exactly what they were going to meet up with in the mission.

"Can't they send someone else?"

"Considering the fact they asked Luke after what he just went through on Bespin, I don't think so."

"You are doing what?" Leia asked, looking at Luke incredulous.

"That's what I was given," Luke replied. He had told Leia that he was going on a mission before she could ask him to do something else.

"No, you are still recovering. You can't go—"

"It's just a scouting mission, and Father's coming with me. Besides, that's easier than breaking into other weapons facility, I'm sure you remember how that went last time."

"Kid's got a point," Han agreed, watching the two. His sight had finally came back completely not long after they had regrouped with the Rebels. "Breaking into a weapons facility is far more strenuous and he's still resting."

"But what if something happens? You need to stay safe and a Jedi will help on this mission," Leia argued, before turning to Han and glaring. "Beside, you agreed to help."

"Yeah, I agreed to help a little, but I still need to make amends with Jabba, don't forget that sweetheart," Han replied. "I'd like to get that bounty off my head as soon as possible. I'll help you break in afterwards if I feel like it."
