As soon as they were out of the Council chambers, Luna's legs wanted to give out from under her. She stumbled to a pillar near a window and leaned against it. Much longer in there, and she was nearly positive that she would have had a panic attack.

That had been terrifying.

It was one thing to imagine standing in front of the Council, a completely different one to be there in their presence being scrutinized.

"That went better than I expected," she heard Anakin say. Luna forced herself to nod in agreement. "You alright?"

Do I look alright? Luna thought to herself.

"Fine," she told him. She was, or would be, as soon as her heartbeat finally calmed down.

This is ridiculous, you fight Darth Vader without a trace of fear, yet speaking to the Jedi Council nearly gives you a panic attack. How do you expect to save Anakin if you can't deal with the freaking Council? Pa—

No, Sidious, we can't risk someone reading our mind.

Fine. Sidious's going to be onto you in a heartbeat.

We just need to never meet with him.

Yes, because he won't get suspicious and try to stop you. He will met with you at some point in time, and he will realize some of what you know, and he will, at the very least, threaten to kill you.

Who would even care besides us?

Does it matter? You die, the Empire will surely rise.

Good point.

Thank you.

"Luna?" Anakin's voice asked, bringing her out of the mental argument she had found herself in.

"Sorry, what?" she asked, looking up at him. Anakin rolled his eyes.

"I was saying we should get some robes for you to change into before I show you where you'll be staying while we're at the Temple," Anakin replied. "After that, I'll show you around while we wait for Obi-Wan to get out of that meeting, and then—"

"Off to Padmé's?" Luna asked with a smile, cutting Anakin off.

"Off to Padmé's," he confirmed, grinning.
