26- The speech of the Vampires

SPIKE'S POV

'She's still here' Buffy said pointing to Jessica's hotel window

'I think I should go in alone' I told her

'Yeah okay' Buffy replied

'Hey Jessica' I said pushing the door ajar 

'What do you want?' she snapped 'I'm in a hurry'

'I can see that, I just wanted to ask how you're doing?'

'You don't care' she replied

'Not entirely no' I smirked 'Buffy does though, I'm here to help' 

'Well, it's too late for that isn't it?' she said showing off her body 'I've been made into a vampire'

'Doesn't mean it's too late at all' I replied showing off my own body 'I'm a vampire and a good ish one'

'You're a weak love sick vampire, the more I think about it the more I realise how disgusting it is that you're shacking up to the slayer. Like out of all the kinks in the world a vampire sleeping with the slayer probably has to be the worst! Do you get like a major kick out of that or what? Or has she whipped you so hard that you just follow her around and do whatever she says! It's absolutely pathetic!' Jessica shouted

'Wow' I replied a little shocked

'She's got a point ya know?' A voice said from the darkness

'Angelus what are you doing here?' I spat

'Oh I've come to listen to your speech obviously, go on, go on, I was enjoying the 'not all vampires are bad, blood sucking fiends'' 

'Both of you get out' Jessica yelled 'you've both done enough to ruin my life'

'What did I even do?' I asked 'all Buffy and I did was try to help'

'Jessica I just want to talk' Angelus said to her softly

How weird that Angelus would come all this way just to talk to Jessica, it seemed like he had feelings for her.

'Screw this' I said 'yet again I have come to help and you've rejected it, so goodbye Jessica and good luck' I pretended to storm out the door and close it over, signalling to Buffy to quietly come join me by the door. She tip toed over and we hid under the window to listen to Jessica and Angelus talk.

'I don't want you to leave, I'm sorry about how things went down when you woke up the other day' Angelus told Jessica

'I don't care' she replied

'I wanted us to like be together or something, to take down Buffy together'

'I thought you had Drusilla doing all your little errands?' Jessica snapped back 'I don't want to be with anyone, I want to get out of here' 

'Fine!' Angelus shouted storming out the door.

'So Angelus has a weakness' I mentioned to Buffy on the walk back to our house

'Yeah so he does' Buffy laughed.
