Epilogue

BUFFY'S POV

Spike and I stood at the airport in England waiting for our luggage to arrive, the rest of the gang has been here for a few days now, it took us longer as we had to make sure we got all the night time flights. It was currently 11 PM and I was exhausted from all the flying, but we did get to do lots of travelling and sight seeing while we waited for the night flights.

'Feel good to be home?' I giggled at Spike

'It's weird' he replied

'You fit right in with that accent' I told him

'Ha ha' he fake laughed 'when is our bloody luggage coming?'

'Relax' I told him stroking his arm 'this is a holiday'

'Doesn't feel like one'

'Okay, so we have to help Giles a bit but we can still make it fun' I smiled

'You're too good to me Buffy Summers' Spike said

I smiled at him, then finally noticing our luggage I tugged his arm and he ran over and grabbed them. We headed outside to wait for Giles to arrive and take us to where we'd be staying.

'It's so cold' I exclaimed

'Yeah, get used to it' he mentioned.

Giles finally arrived and took us to where the rest of the gang was staying. I was completely in awe when we arrived at a huge mansion.

'This has been where the watchers work for ages' Giles announced 'I've really cleaned the place up, set up bedrooms and done so much reading, they had so much information!' Giles said getting a bit giddy

'Wow Giles people are dead but as long as the books are fine' I laughed

'Yes, sorry' he scoffed 'you guys can stay in one of the bedrooms.'

Spike and I went straight to sleep once we arrived in the room we would be staying in. We awoke the next day around lunchtime yet still felt exhausted from all the travelling, I snuggled closer to Spike and he wrapped his arms around me, nuzzling his head into my neck. After another hour or so Willow knocked on the door, 'what?' I called out

'Come on guys we have work to do' she called back

I dragged myself out of bed and put some clothes on, I decided to let Spike sleep in the dark until I worked out if it was safe for him downstairs with the sun. I kissed him on the cheek and whispered for him to stay there.

'So what's the window situation like?' I asked Willow once out of my room

'Not sure' she replied 'England is pretty dreary anyway' she laughed

'I know' I laughed back 'just need to know if it's safe for Spike'

'Giles will know'

'Hey Giles' I said walking down the stairs with Willow

'Yes, yes the windows are tinted' he replied not looking up from what he was reading

'Awesome, I'll let Spike know' I smirked running upstairs to wake him.

Spike finally got out of bed and come downstairs with me to help the rest of the gang set up the new Watchers Council. Sitting at the table was Anya and a baby, 'Erika' I shouted running forward to Anya and the baby, and Anya handed her to me.

'Isn't she just the cutest?' Anya exclaimed

'Anya what have I said about telling people our baby is cute, it's like bragging' Xander told her

'What? I grew her, I'm allowed to say she's cute' Anya replied

'She's very cute' I told them 'the cutest baby I've ever seen'

'I know!' Anya smiled

'So Giles what needs to be done?' Spike asked

'We need to organise all these books, and all the books in the next like 5 rooms, we need to contact all the watchers families, recruit more people and a bunch of other stuff' Giles replied cleaning his glasses 'I am maybe regretting this'

'Not to worry Giles we're here to help' I told him.

Hey guys sorry this epilogue isn't great but I wanted to show that the gang would be rebuilding the Watchers Council and making it better.

Sorry this book was so long and sort of got out of control!
