43- There's no I in Team but there's one in Giles

BUFFY'S POV

'Hey Buffy, what's up?' Willow asked opening Giles' front door

'Hey' I replied 'where is Tara and Giles?'

'Ugh out, researching magic I assume' she told me

'Oh' I answered awkwardly

'So what's up?' she asked again

'This book' I said holding it up and handing it to her 'Jessica's watcher wrote it the other night, it's a plan on how to kill Drusilla and he gave it to her'

'Is that a bad thing?' Willow replied, confused

'Yeah, it's more than just killing Drusilla. It's also about killing Spike'

'Oh Buffy, has Jessica seen this book?'

'Her watcher gave it to her, but she gave it to me, she hasn't read it. I lied to Spike about what was in the book, I don't want him to know'

'It's understandable, I don't think Jessica would have gone through with the plan though'

'Yeah, no I don't think Jessica would kill Spike, but what if her watcher does? What if this isn't the only copy of his plan?'

'I'm sure we can take on an old fuddy duddy like him' Willow laughed

I laughed as well, 'yeah you're probably right'

'Giles has been working on a plan to kill Angelus though, it sort of involves Jessica distracting Drusilla' she explained

'I don't care if Jessica kills Drusilla, so if it gets her out of our way then, sure' I told her

'I think Giles has the plans around here somewhere' she replied looking through his desk draws

'Can I help you?' Giles asked walking through the door with Tara closely behind him

'Yeah, need to show Buffy the plans' Willow replied slightly rudely

'I was going to show her myself' Giles snapped back

'Whoa' I said 'what's going on?'

'Just a bit of tension from being cooped up together' Tara explained

'It's fine' Willow sighed 'just need some space' she walked out of the house into the garden area to get some air.

'Here they are' Giles said not phased by what had just happened and pulling out some paper from his desk draw

I looked over the plans, there seemed to be a lot of magic involved, which meant I was hardly involved, not that I was jealous, but I was the main part in most of our plans. Looking over the details I noticed either Tara or Giles did a lot of the magic, not that they both weren't great at magic but Willow was hardly involved as well. This was probably Giles being petty and leaving Willow out due to their silly fight.

'Where do I come into it?' I questioned slightly annoyed 'I mean, not to sound rude but I am the slayer?'

'Oh you will, you will' he assured me

'Can I read over these at home with Spike?'

'Ah sure' Giles said but the look in his eyes said no

'Thanks, I better head back' I told him walking outside and seeing Willow in the corner under one of the tall trees.

'You okay?' I asked, concerned

'Giles and Tara have bonded heaps lately, so I'm just feeling a bit left out. Not to mention Giles is still kind of mad that I did those spells on him' she explained

'That's unfair you did it for his and everyone else's own good, he was being controlled'

'He doesn't see it like that, he keeps telling me he was in control'

'Have you seen these plans?' I asked

'Not really' she replied

'You and I are hardly involved; it's all Tara and Giles. They know they're family right? They're not just space fillers'

'Who knows' she frowned

Tara came outside, 'baby you want to get some dinner?'

'You should talk to her and explain' I told Willow

'Yeah, I will' she replied giving me a hug and heading over to Tara, I waved to them both and left.
