Look I didn't want to be a half-blood. But here I am being shot at with arrows.
"Heads up!" Annabeth yelled
I ducked under the arrow.
"Go for the flag" she yelled
I glanced back. She was fighting someone from the ares cabin.
"Your mine punk!" Clarisse shouted
I rolled under her legs throwing the disk in the process.
"Now Annabeth" I yelled
Clarisse dropped her spear.
Conner and Travis Stoll came up behind me.
"We've got your back" Conner yelled
Jake mason stood in my way. I tapped my hand down and my bar flew into my left hand. I knocked the blow from Jake away and extended my bar. I flipped landed by the flag.
"Show off!" Thalia yelled she charged me
I blocked her first blow and aimed a stab at her. She blocked that. She jabbed again and I blocked with my bar. I was blocking and slashing with riptide trying to break her defense. She knocked riptide out of my hands. I tapped my hand the bar flew to my hand again.
I felt my hair stand up. And suddenly I was smoking. I couldn't move for a few seconds. My bar was on the ground and so was I. Cheers erupted. Beckendorf ran over the creek with our flag in hand. It shimmered from a caduceus to a flaming hammer. Thalia offered me her hand.
"Sorry Percy" she said
"It's good."
I picked up my bar and tried to extend it to make sure it was okay. Sparks flew off it.
"Well I wanted to see Bruce anyway." I mumbled
I headed back towards my cabin. I put my belt down and checked everything to make sure nothing else broke. A knock echoed from my door.
"Hey" Annabeth said as I opened the door.
"Hey I'm headed into Gotham want to come?" I asked
"Sure" she said "my dad wanted to see me anyways" she turned away
"Hey" I said she turned back towards me. I tossed her a package "happy birthday Wise girl"
"Thanks seaweed brain" she said
