Chapter 18

"Wow seaweed brain wait to ease him into it." Annabeth said Tim looked like he was about to faint "sometimes the gods have kids with mortals the result is...us" Annabeth said
"Wait your saying...your half god?!" Tim asked
"Yeah and me" I said "and you"
"Wait wait wait your dad is?" He asked me
"Poseidon god of the sea" I said
"And your-" he said
"Mom Athena goddess of wisdom" Annabeth said
"And my mom or dad is..."
"We don't know" I said "we could narrow it down"
"Do you have a stepparent?" Annabeth asked
"Well my dad doesn't think I know but my mom isn't...well his wife and never was" he said
"Well you could be a son of Demeter or Aphrodite or Athena-" I cut Annabeth off
"Or a minor goddess" I muttered
"None of us like the fact that they don't have cabins Percy" Annabeth said
"Maybe one day that will change" I said
I studied Tim trying to figure out who his mom was. I couldn't see Demeter. He wasn't...I don't know. Leafy enough? Aphrodite? Maybe. But most of the Aphrodite kids were into makeup and shopping. He didn't seem like that. I could see Athena. I guess his eyes fit. Blue-grey eyes they had a smart look about them too. His hair though. Most Athena kids had blonde hair.
"Seaweed brain!" Annabeth said snapping her fingers in my face.
"What?" I looked up
"Iris message" she said
"Oh yeah let's get a light on and I'll get some mist going" I said
Tim led us to the kitchen where I turned on the sink and made some mist. Annabeth made the call to Chiron who then in turn made a call to Jack Drake, Tim's dad.
I headed back to Wayne Manor with Tim to get a ride and Annabeth went home to tell her dad where she was off too.
I walked into the dinning room where Alfred told me Bruce was.
"What were you thinking taking my Bike like that?" He demanded
"Bruce this is Tim" I said "Drake"
Bruce took a breath.
"Hello Tim" he said
"So you really are batman?" Tim blurted out. "THE Batman?"
Bruce looked at me accusingly.
"Hey I didn't tell him this kid is a genius" I said
"Hmm yeah more of one than you" he said
"Hey I have good ideas...sometimes" I said "anyways we need to get to camp."
"Why?"
"Junior here has some monsters after him" I said
"I'll drive you." He said "go pack some stuff"
"Thanks" I said

We were at camp within the hour. I took Tim to the Hermes cabin which was full as usual. I told him to hide what he had or keep an eye on it at all times. The Stoll brothers took him on a tour.
I heard the conch shell and headed towards the pavilion. I sat at my table being lonely. About three of Annabeth's siblings were here. Thalia sat alone like always at the Zeus table. Three kids in The ares cabin. Jake mason and Beckendorf at the Hephaestus table. Four kids at the Demeter table. Katie Was fighting with one of her siblings about some plant. Four at the Aphrodite. Selina was trying to ignore Drew who was yelling about something. The Apollo cabin had three kids. Will Solace was being comforted by Michael Yew. That was weird I didn't know Will was a full time camper. The Hermes table wasnt nearly as full as usual About ten kids there. Tim sat on the end looking lonely.
The campfire was pretty big tonight. The Apollo cabin lead the singalong Will seemed to be happier.
"We have a new camper tonight." Mr D said "Tom Drake. Welcome blah blah blah"
"It's Tim" Tim said
"Yes yes that's what I said" Mr D said
"Ignore him" I whispered to Tim
We finished the last song and stood to go back to cabins when a light exploded above Tim. A figure of an Owl flew above him.
"What is that?" Tim asked
"You've been claimed" Annabeth said "by my...our mom Athena goddess of wisdom."
