Alfred told me the phone was for me. That didn't happen often. I answered to a shaky voice.
"P-Percy?" He asked
"Tim?" I asked
"Percy I'm scared" he said
"What why?" I asked
"My p-parents are g-gone they...they said they'd be back but their late and..." he paused and I heard a crash. "Someone's here"
The phone went dead. I paused.
"Bruce I gotta go." I yelled
"Where" he asked
"Someone needs my help. I'll send you directions if it gets bad"
I don't know why Tim would call me. Maybe because I said I knew Robin?
I pulled into my gloves and hit my fist into my palm. I sprinted to the garage and grabbed my keys off the wall. I jumped on my bike and prayed it had fuel. It wouldn't start. I looked over and saw Bruce's bike. I paused. A ding echoed and I looked on the screen on my arm. I traced the call and found his address. I paused before grabbing Bruce's keys and I jumped onto his bike. It started first time. Bruce would kill me if anything happened to it. I don't know why I was rushing so much why not call the police? I just had a feeling.
I weaved through traffic quickly. Static went through my earpiece and someone connected.
"Hello?" I asked
"What are you doing seaweed brain?" Annabeth asked
"A friend needs help." I said as I rode towards the nice part of town.
"Do you need help?" She asked
"I don't know yet. You can come if you want I guess" I said
"Is Bruce with you?"
"No"
"But his bike-"
"I took it"
I turned down a street tuning Annabeth out who was lecturing me about taking his bike. The address was a huge house. Maybe not compared to Wayne Manor but it was a mansion.
"I'm going in" I said
I found a broken window and heard someone screaming.
"Tim!" I yelled
He was crouching in a corner hiding from a...giant Badger. And I mean giant,
"Yo wise girl anything on a giant badger?" I asked
"For the kids sake kill it." She said "its biggest weak spot is its head."
"Hey!" I yelled hoping to grab its attention.
It turned to me and sniffed the air. Probably deciding a son of Poseidon would taste better than...Tim had to be a demigod. Why else would a monster attack?
I uncapped riptide and the bronze glow caught the monsters eye even more.
It charged me and I grappled up hooking the ceiling fan. That was a mistake I heard a crack.
"Ugh seaweed brain. I'm coming over" Annabeth said
I fell and landed on the ground. It tried to crush me under its foot. I rolled aside and thrust riptide up. It went into the monsters leg. It reared up and took riptide with it. It was about to come down in me. I stuck my hands. All that fell on me was yellow dust.
Annabeth's gloved hand reached down and I took it.
"What did you think hands were going to do?" She asked
"I don't know a desperate hope?" I said
"Very desperate" she muttered
"Wh-what was t-that?" Tim asked I glanced at Annabeth. She frowned.
"Camp?" I asked
She sighed "probably before another monster comes..." she paused "or Luke" she almost whispered this.
I looked at her sympathetically.
"Don't look at me like that" she growled she looked like she was ready to beat me up.
I looked at Tim he was studying Annabeth and I.
"Can we trust him?" I asked
"We kinda have to" she whispered "we can't just show up without these and not expect him to put it together."
"Listen Tim." I said "we need to take you somewhere safe." I deactivated my suit so I was just wearing my clothes underneath and my gloves. Annabeth did the same.
"I knew it" he said
"Knew what?" Annabeth asked
"Percy was Robin" he said "I didn't know about you?"
"Annabeth" she supplied "listen what we're about to tell you might be kinda a shock."
"Greek gods are real." I said
