-(y/n)'s P.O.V-

... Ugh... My entire body aches...

"(y/n), can you hear me?" I heard a voice call out to me.

I can hear you. But... Who are you...?

"(y/n)! Please wake up!" A different voice shouted, sounding very desperate.

Am I... Asleep?

"(y/n)!"

My eyes popped open, to see a lot of familiar and unfamiliar faces surrounding me.

"She's alive! Thank goodness!" Lillie said.

Everyone seemed to sigh in relief.

Did I... Almost die?

"Give her some space!" Sun said, while moving people back.

I then sat up, and couldn't help but begin to cough. After my coughing fit ended, I started to ask questions.

"What... Happened?"

"You almost drowned." Gladion explained.

"I did?"

All the memories then came flooding back to me; the ocean, the waves, me blacking out. But... How'd I get on the beach?

"... If you don't mind me asking, how'd I get here?"

"I saved you!" Hau said.

Wait... When did Hau get here?

"Okay. But, how'd you get here?" I inquired.

"You see, I was out on the ocean, learning about how to save a drowning human with my grandpa, when we found you, drifting in the ocean. You're lucky to be alive." Hau explained.

"I see."

I then started to stand up, to instantly feel a rush of lack of strength.

Gladion luckily caught on, and caught me before I could fall.

"You need to rest. I can take you home, if you'd like." Gladion offered.

I sighed.

"Sure."

Gladion then had his driver come, and picked me up.

In mere minutes, we were at my place.

"Thanks for the ride." I said.

"Anytime. Want me to help you inside?" Gladion offered.

"I think I'll be fine." I said, though a bit unsure.

"Okay. Maybe see you tomorrow?" Gladion said.

"Tomorrow?" I questioned.

"Well, yeah. If you'd like to come over to my place, you're welcome anytime." Gladion said.

"Okay." I said, before leaving the car, and entering my house.

As soon as I entered the front door, my grandparents rushed to my side.

"(y/n), are you okay!?" Grandma questioned.

"Yeah, I'm alright.." I said.

Both of my grandparents sighed in relief.

"Thank goodness. You had us worried sick." Grandpa said.

"Oh, you heard about that?" I questioned.

"Heard? It's all over the news!" Grandma said.

"Really?" I questioned.

"Yeah. Look at the TV." Grandpa said, before taking me to the TV room.

On the screen showed a news lady talking about 'The sea's almost next victim'.

Give me a break!

"... I think I'm going to go lie down..." I said, before scuffling to my room.

What a day. I sure do hope this all blows over soon.

But for now, I think I'm just going to rest.

Sorry that this chapter's shorter. But, it's out a day after another chapter, so it makes up for that, right? Hope so. Later! =^-^=
