Chapter Thirteen

-Cess-

Pumunta ako sa boutique ni Pia Mendez which is one of the top designers sa Pilipinas. Pumasok ako at tumungo sa counter.

"How can I help you?" Mataray na tanong sa akin ng cashier at hinagod ako ng tingin.

Inabot ko ang lukot na coupon sa kanya.

Tumaas ang kilay niya at kinuha amg coupon. Sana nagbihis muna ako bago pumunta dito.

"Please wait at iveverify ko po ito." Umalis siya at pumasok sa parang office ng boutique.

-Pia-

Narinig ko kumatok ang cashier ko.

"Come in."

"Ma'am Pia, may babae po sa labas at may coupon po siya." Tapos inabot sa akin ang coupon. Looks familiar! Nakita ko ang familiar handwriting ni Joaquin.

"Oh sh*t! Where's she?" Mabilis akong lumabas at nakita ang bagong kinahuhumalingan ni Joaquin.

"Oh hi! I'm Pia and you are?" I greeted her.

"Hi po. I'm Francesca or Cess." Nahihiyang sagot niya.

"Please seat down, Cess. I'll be back to personally assist you."

I went back to my office and closed the door. I called Joaquin right away at mabuti sinagot niya agad.

"Hoy Joaquin Da Silva! Are you dating a minor?! Are out of your mind?!! Sigaw ko sa kanya.

"Pia, would you stop shouting and calm down?" Anong calm na pinagsasabi nito? Does he realize na he's corrupting a minor?!

"Anong calm down2x ka jan?! My gosh! You never learn do you? Do I need to remind you?" I fumed.

"No need. I'll be good, I promise."

"You better be Da Silva. She' seems a sweet and beautiful girl. Cge I gotta go na. You'll like her transformation later. You owe me big time mister!" I said and hung up.

I breathed in and out then walked out the office.

"Let's go Cess and find you the perfect dress."

I choose something that will complememt her complexion and will make her more mature. She doesn't look like a socialite pero she is beautiful. I just hope Joaquin will behave as he promised. Cess is so young and full of life. I gave her pointers on her make up and hairdo na din.

"Thank you for helping me po Miss Pia." She said and smiled. No wonder Joaquin likes her.

"You're welcome, Cess. Enjoy later." I smiled back.

Sana nga si Cess ang magbubukas muli ng puso ni Joaquin. It's been years since Sophia died.

-Cess-

Oh no! It's quarter to three na! Nagmadali akong bumalik sa gym para sunduin si JC. Itinago ko sa bag ko ang mga pinamili ko tapos tinapon ang mga paperbag. I can't tell JC yet about Joaquin.

I was 15 minutes late and nakita ko sa labas si JC na nag-aantay sa akin.

"Saan ka nanggaling Cess? Your tutorials were cancelled sabi ni Miss Kat." Oopss... Patay! Busted!

"Ah naglibot ako sa mall para tumingin ng cellphone kasi." I lied. For the first time. I didn't like it.

Napakunot noo siya at kinuha ang bag niya sa pinasok sa trunk ng sasakyan.

"I'll drive kasi I feel better now." Binuksan niya ang passenger seat para sa akin. Always a gentleman kahit nagtatampo.

Tahimik ang biyahe namin dahil walang gusto magsalita.

"Princess, may nakita akong jacket dito sa sasakyan kagabi. Kanino pla iyon?" Tanong niya sa akin.

"Ah... Nakita ko lang sa may garden kagabi." Another lie.

"Ano pala yung ipeperform ninyo sa foundation day?" Pag-iiba ko ng tanong.

"Secret." Tapos ngumisi siya na parang may evil plan.

Ngumiti na lang ako bilang tugon.

Hinatid ako ni JC sa bahay at wala pa si tatay. Dali dali akong pumunta sa kwarto para ilabas ang damit, shoes pati make up. Nag-iisip ako paano ako magpapaalam kay tatay.

6:30 pm...

Nagsimula na ako magbihis at hindi talaga ako makapaniwala sa itsura ko.
