Time flies so fast na it's just a matter of days until Prom and then graduation. There's excitement among the seniors as they soon will leave High School and head to the wonderful life in College. Or so they thought. Everyone was preparing for their college admission tests as well. Life is busy at the Ace Academy especially for Cess and JC kasi championship tournament na nila sa basketball at regional competition
para vocal solo pop.They need to keep their winning streak before graduating.
Naglalakad si Cess galing sa rest room nang hinarangan siya ni Leo at Nick.
"Cess, may favor ang basketball team sa iyo." Bungad ni Leo.
"Ano yun? Basta huwag kalokohan. Tungkol ba ito kay JC?" Tanong ni Cess.
"Tumpak! We need to boost our MVP's
Morale!" Sabat naman ni Nick.
Napataas ang kilay ni Cess at nagtaka ano na namang pakulo ang naisip ng dalawa.
Basketball Championships
"It's the fourth quarter with 70-65 in favor of La Salle Green Archers. Acean Tigers point guard Juan San Miguel seems to be loosing his touch. " sabi ng announcer.
"Ano ba San Miguel ang nangyayari sa iyo?" Sigaw ni Coach Bawar kay JC.
"Pre, 6 freaking points and we can win. Ano ba problema mo?" Ani ni Leo.
Lumingon si JC sa spectators at wala pa rin Cess. Nadismaya siya kasi si Cess ang kanyang lucky charm. Last 5 minutes na ng game nang may narinig siyang cheer!
"Go JC! Go JC! Show em what you got Baby!" Nakita niya si Cess with their classmates chanting na may streamers pa! Nagchant na din sila Mitch at Steph kasama ang cheeer squad.
"H-O-T-T-O-G-O the Acean Tigers are HOT TO GO! Awooo! A Hot to go! Awooo!"
As usual ayaw magpatalo ni Mitch kay Cess.
Nabuhayan ng loob sila especially JC na natuwa na nakarating si Cess.
"Last 3 minutes and point guard San Miguel managed to top the score with 2 consecutive three-point shots thus making them this years champion."
The Aceans crowd went wild nang inannounce na winner ang Ace Academy.
"Lakas talaga tama ka talaga kay Cess, pre." Sabi ni Leo at nag high five sila.
"Malapit na ang vocal solo pop contest ni Cess and let's support her too." Sabi ni JC nakangiti at kumakaway kay Cess.

Buong basketball team ay in attendance sa competition ni Cess. May dalang streamers din sila. Cess's father and Tita Stella were there too.
There were 10 contestants and Cess was the last one.

Narito ako na lagi nang nakatingin
Tiningnan ni Cess ang audience at tila hindi niya makita si Joaquin.

Hindi lang man nagtext si Joaquin ng good luck or anything pero ipinaalam niya na may competition siya ngayon.

Sa sobrang emosyon ni Cess ay napataas niya ng one key higher ang song. Nagpalakpakan ang mga tao sa sobrang taas at were amazed as well.
Lingid sa kaalaman nila na tumutulo ang luha ni Cess habang kumakanta. After ng song niya at napa-standing ovation sila.
Dahil doon ay nanalo ulit si Cess. Sinalubong siya ng mga taga-suporta niya. As usual she is scanning the crowd but there's no sign of Joaquin.
"Ang galing-galing talaga ng anak ko." Niyakap ni Mang Kiko si Cess.
"I'm so proud of you, iha." Bati naman ni Tita Stella.
"Roses for the unbeatable Acean's songbird." Nakangiting bati ni JC at biglang niyakap siya ni Cess.
"Salamat sa pagpunta at suporta. Alam ko may victory party sana kayo ngayon pero inuna nyo pa ako."
"Anything for you my princess."
"Grabe cheesy! Let's celebrate our victory party together!" Sigaw ni Leo.
"Pizza...pizza...pizza!" Chant ng basketball team.
"Okay let's go to Shakeys!" Sabi ng principal namin.
Hinawakan ni JC ang kamay ni Cess at sabay na silang lumabas ng stadium para magcelebrate.

Acean Tigers point guard and MVP, Juan Carlos San Miguel, won the championships with his 2 consecutive 3-point shots at the crucial last 3 minutes of the game.
Students who attented the said game had attested that our MVP was inspired to win when Francesca Morales came with a group and cheered him on leading to victory.
See photo below where Miss Morales was handing a towel and sports drink to Mr. San Miguel after the said event.
Days after Francesca Morales, the Acean's Songbird, bagged first place at the Regional level of the Vocal Solo Pop contest. Her winning piece was "Narito Ako" and she made another milestone by singing it in the highest version than what was intended and was awarded with a standing ovation from the crowd.
Mr. San Miguel was seen handing out a bouquet of roses to her and they hugged. Such a sweet sight! Both are so supportive with each other that wd are anticipating a brooding romance!
We were astounded to know that Joaquin Da Silva was not in the premesis to greet his ladylove.
Where was he? Did he and Francesca
have a lover's quarrel? Is she now turning her attention to our MVP instead?

Well, he was traveling with none other than Selena Montemayor for a business meeting. Mr. Montemayor and Mr. Da Silva was there as well as they will be discussing expansions for their business and partnership. It was an unexpected trip that's why Joaquin was not able to contact and inform Cess. They will be in El Nido Palawan for several days with no network coverage.
