Chapter Forty One

Priscilla left JC standing staring at the sea. She was mysterious and talking in riddles. Some sembreak fling she is... Never got to kiss her on my terms.

"Pare." Tapik ni Nick kay JC.

"Yep?" Pero na kay Priscilla pa rin ang isip niya.

"Asan na si Priscilla?" Yugyog niya kay JC.

"She left." Nagtataka at nahihiwagaan si JC sa kanya but he enjoyed being with her.

"Sayang naman! Pasok na tayo." Yaya ni Nick.

Naalala niya tuloy na sa iisang kwarto sina Cess at Joaquin. Buti na lang distracted si JC kay Priscilla kaya naibsan ang selos at inis niya.

Pumasok na sila sa hotel para magpahinga.

-Joaquin-

We were walking towards our room and I can feel Cess is quite tense.

"Finally, I can have you alone." I teased and she blushed.

"Joaquin ha?!" She is so cute when blushing furiously.

She backs up slowly and I held her waist then carried her like a sack of potatoes.

"Joaquin, put me down!" She screamed.

"Guys! Get a room please! RPG!" Sabi ni Leo sabay tawa!

"Bes ha?!" Sabat naman ni Sam.

"Yes we are indeed getting a room." I joked.

"Help me bes! Sige na!" She pleaded.

"Don't worry Sam. She's in good hands." I opened the door and carried her inside.

"Please Joaquin... Di pa ako handa."

I just ignored her, dropped her on the bed and crawled slowly towards her.

"No...no...help!" Then I tickled her and she laughed.

"Tama ba please...!" I stopped and she was so flushed.

"I have made a promise to your father to take good care of you unless you asked me to." I grinned and kissed her nose.

"Pasaway ka talaga!" She threw a pillow at me and missed. I walked to the shower room door.

"I'll take a shower. Care to join me?" I closed the door in time just before another pillow hit me.

-Cess-

Ang harot ng boyfriend ko talaga! Nakakainis lang! Hindi pa ako ready noh and dapat kasal muna kami. Hopefully kami na forever.

Narinig kong may tumutunog sa may drawer and binuksan ko may tumatawag.

Selena Montemayor is calling....

I checked the time and past 12 midnight na. Bakit kaya siya tumatawag. Ayaw ko namang sagutin kasi ayaw ko maging pakialamera.

Biglang lumabas si Joaquin na nakatowel lang ang takip. Nakakaloka kaka-recover lang tapos ganito ulit. Bakit ba super hunky mo Joaquin?!

"Who's calling, babe?" Sabi niya habang pinapatuyo ang buhok niya.

"Can you wear a shirt please? Si Selena." I said annoyed tapos inabot sa kanya ang phone at pumasok ng shower tapos sinara ng malakas.

Naligo na ako at lumabas biglang sumulpot si Joaquin at hinalikan ako.

"I love it when you're jealous. I turned off the phone so no one will disturb us." He smiled wickedly.

"Joaquin, behave okay? Mahirap na." Biro ko.

"I am irresistable like that."

"Oo ikaw na lahat. Yabang mo." Tapos pinisil ko ang pisngi niya.

"Let's go to bed, Cess." He voice was a caress and I looked at him nervously.

"Eh kasi Joaquin..."

"Just kidding babe. You get the bed and I will set up my hammock at the veranda.

"Are you sure?" Sabi ko naman.

"Yes. Good night. I love you." He kissed me.

"Okay. Good night and love you too." I said.

Lumabas si Joaquin at nagset-up ng hammock niya.

Pinatay ko na ang ilaw at nahiga na. Pinilit kong matulog pero dilat pa din ang mata ko. Nagpasya na lang akong lumabas para tingnan if nakatulog si Joaquin.

"Unable to sleep because of me?"He smiled in the dark.

"Hindi ko nga alam eh. Bakit gising ka pa?"

"I just like looking at the sea and the moon. Come here." He beckoned for me to join him at his hammock. Lumapit ako at tumabi sa kanya.

"Tell me about your life in California" Niyakap niya ako tapos nagkwento. He had the most soothing voice that I fell asleep almost immediately.

Naramdaman ko na lang may kumikiliti sa ilong ko. Gusto ko pa matulog kaya tinapik ko tapos may narinig akong may tumawa. Dinilat ko ang mata ko tapos si Joaquin pala kinikiliti ako gamit ang buhok ko.

"Morning sleepyhead. Look at the sunrise." Sabay turo sa sun.

"Wow! Ang ganda naman ng sunrise!"

"Yes as beautiful as you."

"Kaya pala gusto mong matulog dito sa labas."

"Yes and because I may not be able to resist you."

"Eh magkatabi naman tayo dito sa hammock mo."

"It's because holding you while you sleep is enough for now. Never woke up as happy as this."

"Me too. I love you so much Mr. Da Silva."

"I love you too Future Mrs. Da Silva." He kissed me again.

"I'll never get tired of kissing you." He said and I smiled.

Sana ganito lagi kami, I thought as we look into the sunrise.
