Almost in a blink of an eye, my internship was almost over. The trial was over, Seulki had to pay for my medical bills and had to pay a huge fine, which I used to pay some bills with Mark and Jackson. I thought it was fair after a few months of living with them.
Today, for a video, we were going to an amusement park.
I was in the van with some of the staff and GOT7 was in the van in front of us. It was going to be a memorable day for them. Once at the park, we waited a few minutes because we had arrived at 9:45 and the gates opened at 10. There were a lot of fans who had spotted the group, I thought I had to be careful with the interactions with my friends in order not to spark a scandal. Put a girl too close to an idol and the dating rumors start flurishing.
"It's warm today." Mark went up to me once he got out of the car.
"It's the middle of June, what did you expect?" I chuckled. It was true, it was very warm.
"What are we gonna ride first?" BamBam asked, gaining shrugs from other members.
"We know for sure we're supposed to film you on the T Express." I said and took a bag out of the staff van. I checked the number of GoPro cameras, four were needed and we had an extra one in case there would be an issue.
"Why do we have to film on that ride again? I'm going to die." Youngjae sighed and put his face in his hands, making Jackson laugh.
"Hey don't laugh, should I remind you your Jinyoung-aaaah?" Jaebum pointed out, getting Jackson to shut up instantly.
~
I couldn't go on rides with Mark, which made me a bit disappointed but we did get good footage.
"Do we have to go on the T Espress now?" Youngjae asked as we walked around.
"It's Express! T Express!" Jackson exclaimed. I had to laugh when Youngjae hit him.
"You'll ride it now. You won't have to hold the cameras, they'll be fixated." A staff member said. We made our way to the ride and I wish I could stand next to Mark but I had to keep my distance. Their manager said we had to be careful whenever we were around GOT7, rumors could spread quickly, and every woman working around them had to be careful. It was the hardest aspect of my job, considering I had gotten very close to them.
I fixated the camera in front of Mark and Yugyeom, who were riding the T Express together.
"Next time we'll ride it together." Mark said and I looked at him briefly, smiling.
"Next time, yeah." I said, got my camera and started filming the guys before they started the ride. Youngjae and Jackson looked like they were about to cry but the others looked quite excited.
We waited for the ride to be over and as expected, Jackson and Youngjae looked like ghosts. Their souls had left their bodies. It was sad and funny at the same time. Mark looked a bit shaken up but really amused.
"I feel like I can't walk anymore." He laughed. I passed him a bottle of water, still keeping my distance as some fans were crowding the ride.
"That'd be bad for the rest of the day." I said and we left the area.
~
The day passed by quickly, and we had so much footage, I thought it'd be impossible to edit in one day. The sun was already starting to set.
"It's almost time to leave." I said and Jaebum groaned.
"My feet are killing me. I can't wait to sleep." He said.
"You have vacation soon, you'll be able to rest." Their manager said. I had forgotten that they had vacation after a big concert in Seoul. That concert was also something that required filming. However it would be the last thing I'd be working on, as I'd graduate right after.
We left the park and made our way to the vans. To my surprise, there wasn't any fan around.
"I wish we could've spent more time together today." Mark said and I smiled at him.
"We can spend time together at home, that's no problem." I told him and he beamed.
"But don't you have work tomorrow?" He asked, losing his smile.
"No. I have nothing until your concert." I anwered and opened the van door.
"I have practice tomorrow but I don't mind going to bed a bit later."
"Mark, you need to rest." I said and looked at him. He put his finger on my mouth, shutting me up.
"I'll stay up and watch movies with you and I won't take no for an answer." I couldn't say anything to that, when Mark wanted to do something, he was gonna do it.
And when we were back at home, it was past ten in the evening. I didn't want to keep Mark awake but I couldn't convince him to go to bed. He waited for me to get into more comfortable clothes and then he put on a movie.
"What did you put on?" I asked.
"Sixth Sense." He replied and jumped on the couch.
"I thought you were scared of that." I sat down next to him and he scoffed.
"When I was a kid, yeah. But it doesn't affect me anymore."
"Alright, whatever floats your boat."
As I had expected, Mark fell asleep not even halfway through the movie. His peaceful face put a smile on mine. I wished I would keep working with him, graduation day was coming faster and faster, my time at JYP Entertainment was most likely coming to an end.
I got a blanket from Mark's room and came back to the living room to wrap him in it. I didn't have the heart to wake him up, so I made him lie on the couch and let him sleep there. He looked like an angel, and I found myself smiling at his sleeping form. I was feeling more and more attracted to him, but while my heart was saying yes, my mind was saying no. And my mind was stronger than my heart.
