My work with GOT7 hadn't changed one bit, even with all the members knowing Mark and I were now a thing. Only the members and Mark's family were aware of it, and we did our best to keep it secret from anyone else. To be frank, we did a really good job at hiding everything and we would act like a couple behind closed doors.

A few months later, in the beginning of october, the guys were getting ready for their comeback. Mark had dyed his hair red and I liked it a lot. Promotion time would be hard for everyone, band and staff. The band had it much harder though, they were practicing from morning to evening and had to be careful with what they were eating. Mark told me he was used to it, having debuted in 2014, but I could see it was still hard for him. However, seeing him happy to please his fans, had me content. No one was suspecting anything between Mark and me, the way we were hiding our relationship was surprising even to me.

The evening before the comeback, we all were at the company, filming the dance practice of You Are. I smiled as I moved the camera to capture each of them the best I could.

"And cut!" With that, I hit the stop button on the camera to stop recording. The guys dropped to the ground, breathing heavily.

"You did a great job." I complemented them, gaining a few smiles in the process. They seemed too tired to talk. The staff left the room, except me, and I made sure no one would come in without knocking before I went up to Mark and gave him a bright smile. He was still panting, but smiled back at me.

"Tell me we're done for the day." He sighed and let himself completely fall on the ground. I giggled and sat down on the ground next to him before placing his head on my lap, I then started playing with his hair.

"We have to go through the choreography one more time before going home." JB said, making Mark, Youngjae and BamBam groan. The others stayed silent.

"Will you wait for me?" Mark asked and sat up. I nodded.

"I'll be in the car, I can't stay around too long, it'd be suspicious." I replied and pecked his lips. Before they could begin dancing, I left the room and started walking to the parking lot. I saw a figure standing next to the car, so I furrowed my eyebrows but kept walking. That's when I recognized the person. Just when I had convinced myself she was definitely out of my hair, Seulki was standing there with her arms folded. She turned around and looked at me straight in the eye.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, taking a few steps back as the memories of my cracked cheekbone resurfaced in my mind.

"I wasn't done with you back then." She growled. I was scared shitless, I didn't want her to hurt me again.

"W-what do you want?" I stuttered, once again taking a few steps backwards.

"I want Mark." She spat at me, I wanted to run away. Ever since she sent me to the emergency room, I wanted to be nowhere near her. I realized that, even after years of hell, I had no idea how far she could go. She started walking towards me and the sound of her heels clicking on the concrete had me shivering. I felt a hand grab my arm and I was pulled behind a tall figure. Jackson and Mark were now protecting me. I heard Seulki stop walking and peeked over Mark's shoulder to see her. She looked pissed.

"My company has the power to send you to jail. I suggest you leave and never come back." Mark growled in fury.

"Oppa, you didn't forget about me, did you?" She said and I could hear the fake cries trying to come out of her throat. She was disgusting.

"Leave or I'm calling the police." Jackson said, making Seulki groan. She left as soon as she realized we had the upper hand. I was shaking, but since we were out in public, Mark didn't hug me. Instead he just led me back inside the building. He and Jackson led me to a room where no one would see us, and once inside, Mark pulled me in his arms.

"She didn't do anything, did she?" Mark asked and I shook my head. I somehow could feel the pain in my cheek from months ago, like a lingering memory.

"I'm fine." I managed to mutter and let out shaky breaths. I didn't want to be hurt again. Mark's hands went up to my neck, forcing me to look at him as he bent down to be on my level.

"Don't lie to me." His voice sounded firm yet sweet. For some reason, I cracked and small pearls of water started prickling at my eyes. Jackson and Mark stayed silent, the latter ran his thumbs across my now wet cheeks. The way he was looking at me broke my heart even more, and I couldn't stop crying.

"I have a bad feeling about this. We should go home seperatly." Jackson let out a heavy sigh, getting Mark and I to turn our heads to look at him. He was right, lots of paparazzis always roamed around the company, waiting to catch a glimpse of the various groups that were often there, practicing, recording, training.

In the end, I was brought back home by another staff member. I was exhausted, Seulki's threatening presence had drained my emotional energy. I couldn't even sleep because of the lingering fear I was experiencing. It was past 2am when my tired feet caressed the wooden floor and dragged me to Mark's room.

"Mark?" I whispered after pushing the door open for me to peek inside the bedroom. I saw him shift in the darkness.

"Come here." His raspy voice rang through my ears as I walked to the bed and let myself fall between the pillows. His toned arms slowly pulled me closer to his chest. That way, I could finally sleep with a feeling of safety.
