Part 18

The first thing I saw when I arrived was a naked guy run across the front lawn with (bed?)sheets wrapped around his neck like a cape.

Didn't the party just start?

As I continue to stare at the guy, Mel ignores it like it was nothing. She grabbed my hand and pulled me inside if the house.

When we arrived, we're greeted by a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"Hi, I'm Peter. Welcome to my party," he says, smiling widely at me.

"Um, thanks. Hi, I'm Y/N."

"Yeah, I know. New student, right? You're as hot as everyone says."

"Um, thanks."

"Go away, Peter," Mel joked. "C'mon Y/N, let's go find Jason and Ted."

Jase. He probably hates me because of Harry. I'm not sure if he ever wants to see me again.

"Okay."

We walked pass a couple of drunk people as we were off to find Jase and Ted.

While walking through, I have gotten my butt slapped, grabbed, and stroked.

I'm not sure if I like these parties.

"Does this happen often?" I ask Mel.

She shook her head and I breathed out a sigh of relief.

"They're usually on Friday's, but no one was able to host one then," she explained.

So much for that relief.

"Do you usually go to every party?" I ask.

She shook her head. I didn't breath out any sigh of reliefs this time just to make sure.

"Only the ones worth going to."

See? There are two possibilities. A party worth going to can be one where everybody drinks apple juice and plays monopoly in the living room, or one where everybody gets wasted and naked. I highly doubt that it would be the first one to her, though.

"Oh! I see them! Hurry up!" Mel shouts, dragging me again.

I haven't quite figured out how to walk in these shoes yet.

"Hi, Jason! Hi, Ted!" Mel sings.

"Hi," I say.

"Hi, Mel. Hi, Y/N. Wow, you look hot," Ted complimented.

Jase rolled his eyes and looked away from me.

Mel looked fro me to Jase, confused.

"Jase, can I talk to you alone for a minute?" I asked.

"Jase?" Ted asked, suspiciously.

"My name's Jason."

"Jase..."

"Fine."

Jase walked away somewhere and I followed him.

"What?" he asked, sounding annoyed.

"Why are you so mad at me?"

"I'm not mad at you."

"You obviously are. Jase, what's wrong?"

He looked at me and sighed. "Look, it's nothing. Really."

I started rubbing my eyes. "I'm sorry. I think I got a little bit of your bullshit in my eyes."

He didn't say anything.

"Look, whatever Harry said was a lie."

"He lied?"

"Well... exaggerated the truth."

I told Jase about what really happened.

He bit his lip and started tapping his foot. "Why didn't you just tell me that in the first place?"

"I tried! Everyone just decided to interrupt me and ignore me!" I defended.

Jase hugged me tightly. "I'm sorry. I promise to never be a jerk again."

I laughed and hugged him back. "It's fine, I should've just told you when I had the chance. That would've been a very interesting topic starter."

Jase laughed. "Yeah, let's go back?"

"Sure."

Jase and I walked hand in hand back to our friends.

"Someone doesn't look like death anymore," Ted joked.

"Shut up," Jase groaned.

"What was wrong with you anyways?" Mel asked.

"Yeah, Jase. What was wrong?" Ted sang.

"Shut up. Only Y/N can call me that."

I blushed.

"So, Y/N..." Jase started.

"Yeah?"

"Harry means nothing to you, right?"

"Right."

"Then I guess you wouldn't mind that he's making out with that girl over there."
