As always the same pain slapped him everywhere.... When Xiao Jun opened his eyes, he found himself in a hospital. The smell of disinfectants and the constant beeping of the heart monitor.

He was Yi Jing Jun, young age of 23, in the hospital due to suicide. Of course he failed, but was left in a 4 years coma that is until Xiao Jun came. Yi Jing Jun life was deemed tragic, he had the looks, but he did not have parents nor siblings. He was a lonely orphan. His parents died when he was young and he didn't have any siblings. He only had a cousin, Si Ye Heng.

Yi Jing Jun was counted as a noticeable side character, however in the normal plot, he was left in coma. How was he related to the whole story? The reason why he was left in coma was because of the second male lead, Si Ye Heng which was why the second male lead despite his power over the business empire and godly looks could not bring the female lead and himself together. Yi Jing Jun didn't have much friends to face reality, his only friend was his distant cousin Si Ye Heng and due to an misunderstanding, coupled with the bullying, he sacrificed his life to escape reality.

Yi Jing Jun was the anchor in their relationship since Si Ye Heng could not bear the guilt of leading a innocent cousin to death which caused a rift when interacting with the female lead, he was afraid, getting to close would make the female lead become like Yi Jing Jun.
