Forgiveness

Emily's POV

I wake up and grab my phone. I always check my phone before I get up. It was 10:53 am. Damn I slept for a long time.

"Oh look who's awake!"

I turn over to see Thea lying on the other bed in the room.

"Why are you on Sophia and Eleanor's bed?"

"They left to an interview with the guys, get up already!"

"But im tiredd!"

"Well you did run a lot last night, you were 5 miles away from the stadium when they found you."

"Haha yea. I have to talk to Luke."

Thea nods and i get up. I was still wearing my clothes from last night, i was too tired to change.

I walk over to Luke's room and knock on the door.

He opens the door.

"Luke I'm-"

He hugs me before I even finish my sentence. I hug him back with tears in my eyes.

"Don't you ever run away from me again," he says, his voice shaky.

"Ok," is all I managed to get out.

He takes me in the room and we sit down on the couch.

I look in his eyes, they're red and puffy.

"Emily, I'm sorry for what I did. I messed up."

"No Luke, I overreacted. I shouldn't have run away. I was stupid."

"Emily, you don't know how worried I was, I ran after you for so long."

"I know, I should've come out. I was hiding behind a trash can."

"So you heard me? Emily did you WANT to get lost?"

I look down and a tear falls out of my eye.

He hugs me again.

"Em, I love you so much, I just want you to be safe."

"I promise to never do that again. I love you too."

We were hugging again when we heard arguing outside the door.

We listened closely, it was Thea and Ella.
