OK so I know Beside you is an old song but in the story let's pretend its a new song that's not released yet...k? k. Here's the chapter!!

Emily's POV

I was in my room. I'm so bored. Of course my phone is very fun but it gets annoying once in a while. I was actually all alone right now.

Thea had left with Ashton and the rest of the guys to get pizza for dinner. I didn't want to go, so I stayed with Rob.

He always stays in the hallway. He's really boring unless you mess with him. I tried telling Luke to just order room service or get the pizza delivered here but nooo. He really wanted to get out of the room. I get where he's coming from but I just feel really lazy.

I decide to walk around the room, I was sharing a room with Luke today. He has a suitcase and a carry-on bag.

In the carry-on, there's a bunch of papers. I look through them, they're songs. I read the top of a lot of them, Written by Ashton Irwin and Luke Hemmings.

Most were written by Ash and Cal, and Mikey and Luke too. I grab one in particular, that stands out. It already has lyrics and the music notes. It was written by Luke and Ash.

Beside You it had written on top.

"Within a minute I was all packed up, I've got a ticket to another world, I don't wanna go, I don't wanna go." I sing to myself.

Its actually really good.

"When we both fall asleep, underneath the same sky, to the beat of our heart, to the same time."

I read through the piece. It was beautiful. Its exactly as if they're singing to me. Except, I actually didn't stay back home. I wonder who its dedicated to.

I decide to sing it aloud.

"She lies,awake,I'm tryna find the words to say, I wish I was, I wish I was, Beside You."

I sit there, just proud. When you think about it, its kind of amazing how they set their minds to something, something almost impossible to do.

They dedicated themselves to this. They dropped out of school, all for this. They had a 1 in a million chance, and they did it. It makes me so happy to think that his dreams have come true.

"So close but so far away," I mumble.

"Can you hear me?" I turn around an see Luke, towering over me. He's not mad, he's smiling.

"Uh, sorry. I was looking and found it."

"Its okay. Did you like it?"

"Like what?"

"The song silly."

"Its amazing. Its so, deep, you know?"

He nods in agreement, "Ash and I wrote it, we wanted it to be deep."

"Good job then haha"

He comes and sits next to me, "Sing it." He says.

"By myself?"

He nods yes.

"No, haha I can't sing."

"Sure you can. Come on just sing a little."

"No, Luke I can't."

"Em please?"

"Luke, its embarrassing."

"Why would it be embarrassing?"

I sigh, "Because you're so good at singing, everyone thinks you're amazing and I'm just, not."

"That has nothing to do with this, come on Em, I won't judge you."

I take a breath, "She sleeps, alone, my heart wants to come home, I wish I was, I wish I was, Beside you, She Lies, awake, I'm tryna find the words to say, I wish I was, I wish I was, Beside You."

"That was really good."

"No it wasn't, compared to you I sound like shit."

"Em, don't compare yourself to me. You've never had a vocal coach or any kind of training, and your voice is amazing."

I smile a little, "And besides I'm here if you ever want some help, you were a little pitchy." He says

I pretend punch him on the shoulder, I love him.

"What other songs do you have?" I ask

He grabs a folder in a drawer beside him.

"These are the songs that we've chosen to put on the album. They're set."

"What about Beside You?"

He shook his head, "It didn't make it."

I stay there shocked. How could it not make it?

"How? Why?! Its amazing!" I say

"We could only put 10 to 11 songs on the album, plus the ones for the deluxe version, but those are already picked out."

"Lucas. No. Beside you is absolutely amazing. You have to put it in."

He shakes his head, "I don't know Em, its hard to convince them."

"Well, I'll make them put it in if you don't." I say standing up.

"Em I don't want you to get involved in this, its really stressful and annoying."

I sigh, "Luke, come on!"

He stays silent for a bit, "Fine. But I'm not going to say a word, its all on you."

"Kay, let's go!"

"Um, Em?"

"What."

"Where are you going?" He asks, I was walking out the door.

"To management of course."

"Uh Em?"

"Yes?"

"Management is in Australia."

"Oh." I say stupidly, "Well I guess I'll just wait till we get back to Australia."

He laughs, "You're so stupid sometimes."

"Hey! I didn't know. Besides, isn't there management all over the world?"

"Nope." He answers plainly.

"Well there should be."

I get up as he's laughing, I decide to walk into all the rooms in the hall. Just to see who's in each.

"Door numero 1," I say. I open the door and see Harry and Niall. Sitting on the floor, playing cards.

They stare at me with confused looks, "What?" I say, "I'm not the one playing goldfish on the floor"

I sit down and decide to forget the "Opening Random Doors" game. I wanted to play goldfish. I know its called Go Fish, but goldfish sounds better.

I grab 7 cards as I sit on the floor. "Do you have any 4's?" I ask Niall.

He hands me his 4. "Emily do you have any 3's?" He asks.

"Goldfish." I say.
