Minghao's POV:

She looks so pretty while standing at the balcony of the palace

She looks so perfect just the way she is

I love her not as the princess of the whole kingdom but I love her as the woman of my dreams

I saw her took a look at my direction

I saw how beautiful she is when she smiles as she waved her hands at my direction

I waved back at her and she entered the palace doors

"Minghao you should go to your post now"

I followed what our general commanded me, yes I am just a palace guard and princess y/n is the woman that I love, I know that it is forbidden, the king will be furious if he finds out

I am now at my post outside the palace gates ready to attack any intruder if ever

And as the dawn approached I can see the other palace guards entering the gates, I stood up not because I will follow them but because I will go somewhere

I am at the lake where the moon reflects it's light forming a beautiful scenery

"Hao"

I heard someone call my name, I took a look excitedly at the person who spoke, yes she is y/n the girl I love

"y/n yah"

She ran towards my direction while holding her gown that princess's always wear, I also ran towards her and embraced her the moment we met

"Have you been waiting for too long Hao?"

"Ahhm not that long"

All the longing I felt the whole day has come to an end, we can only see each other when the night is already late so that no one will catch us

"I missed you y/n"

I really missed her, a day feels like years when I am not with her

"I missed you too Hao"

She smiled at me, the way she smile's really make my heart flutter

"How did you escape this time?"
