(13 things to do before I die)(pt.1)

===

Your POV:

I was staring outside the hospital's window while looking at the children who were happily playing at the nearby park.

3 days had passed since I found out about my illness, and up until now I still can't accept it, I can't accept those stupid results, why so quick? If I had this illness since a long time ago why didn't I have those symptoms? Why does it have to be this fast?

"y/n?"

I tilted my head towards my mom who just entered my room, I faked a smile so that she won't be worried at me and I saw her smile bitterly before she sighed.

"Eomma? When will I leave this place?"

I asked as I looked around the four corners of the hospital room, everything inside this room were colored white, it seems like I'm in heaven but I feel like I'm in hell.

"The doctor said that we can go home later"

She smiled as she gently caressed my cheeks.

Something's definitely wrong, I guess I'm really in a bad condition, if I have good results my mom would surely tell me everything but now, she chose to stay quite and it makes me worried.

When afternoon came, I helped my mom pack some of my things that she brought before we headed home, a ride that seemed like forever while my mind was occupied with a lot of thoughts

"y/n?"

"hmmm?"

I didn't look at my mom who was busy driving as I continued looking outside the window.

"Is it alright if you undergo chemotherapy, right?"

She just looked straight, while I sighed deeply, even if she doesn't tell me what is my current condition, I know I'm dying, even if their words tell me that everything will be alright their actions says the opposite.

"No problem mom"

I faked a smile as we continued our way, I'm already dying and I don't know what should I feel.

When we reached our house, I went down our car and I took my things as I went inside, my mom followed me without any word.

I was a bit shocked when I saw my neighbor who was also my childhood friend who was two years older than me inside our living room while looking at the pictures on the wall.
