First oneshot? You know who it is. Come on! It's a major part of my branding. Lol. Beware spelling errors.

STORYTIME.

You held the stone tight in your hand, not wanting to drop it ever. Ever since the day Ilima gave it to you as a sign of everlasting friendship, you never went anywhere without it. Ilima even suggested having it transformed into a beautiful pendant for you, but you didn't want to separate from it for however long it takes. It was one of your most prized possessions and you don't go anywhere without it. You don't give it to anyone.

Deep down, you saw that everstone as a symbol of your everlasting love towards Ilima. It may just be a silly crush, but you were hanging onto that crush like it wasn't a life preserver and you are about to drown in the ocean if you don't cling to it. First loves are always the best loves, right? Right. Another great reason why you shouldn't ever get rid of this everstone. To you, it was a sign of love and devotion. Everlasting.

Oh right, this story has to have more than just world building right? Right. It needs a plot. So you were walking over to Ilima's, confidence pumping through your veins. There was a reason you held the everstone tightly in your hand, other than the fact it held a great significant value to you. Today you wanted to reach your happy ending. Today you wanted to tell Ilima exactly why you treasured this everstone. Today was the day you confess your love to the great Captain Ilima of Meleemelee island.

You walked up to his doorstep, taking a deep inhale and grippingly the stone in your hand. You've been over here so many times thst the fact he lives in a mansion with maids doesn't faze you anymore. You raise your empty hand and knock on the door three times. One, two, three. You wait for a moment. That's when one of his maids, Maria, opens the door and smiles at you. You're kind of a regular around here.

"Ah, (Sir/Miss) (Name). A pleasure to have you as a guest again."

You nodded and smiled her way as an acknowledgement. You had a mission. You enter the home and hand her your bag and hat. It was how things were run around here. You remember when you first were over here with Ilima and you were so surprised when you learned he had maids and lived in a mansion. You almost fainted on the spot! You and Maria still remember and sometimes when nobody's is watching you'll joke about it. You smile at Maria one last time before heading up the stairs. You know exactly where to go and what to do. You've been planning this for a little while. And by a little while I mean four hours last night because you couldn't sleep waiting on Twenty One Pilots to release the new album and of course you had to binge-listen to the album.

You make it to Ilima's room on the second floor. You could hear music coming from the inside. Soothing piano and orchestral music. You smiled, remembering the tune as something you would hear coming from Sinnoh. It sounded a lot like someone from Floaroma town would listen to or play. That's the fanfiction way of telling you the song that he was listening to. You glanced at the everstone, rubbingour thumb against it. Yeah, you're ready. You're ready to tell him what this means to you. You're ready to tell Ilima you're in love with him. You're ready to give this to him, wink, and say "may our love last as long as this everstone." You smiled to yourself, confident and headstrong. Let's do this! You knocked on the door three times. One, two, three. You heard his voice call out to you from behind the door.

"Come in!"

You take the doorknob and turn it with your free hand, not even bothering to hide the everstone. Ilima knows you take it everywhere anyways. He wont find it odd in the least. You enter the blue room to see Ilima at his desk, using his Amazon Echo to play the music and reviewing some battle strategies. He may be the prince of the trainer's school, but everyone knows that he's the Alola battle fanatic. It's no wonder why he takes vacations to places like Kalos to learn more ndr battle more people. He's a Battle Fanatic. You loved him like that, gives him a passionate side to his wonderful princely personality. He spun around to face you and pulled that smile you fell so deeply in love with, just for you.

"Ah, my dear! I'm so glad you're here. Perfect timing, actually. I wanted to ask you a favor. Maybe look over what I'm working on? I know how good you are with creative ways to battle and I was wondering if a so called 'combination strategy' would work." Boop

Ilima was looking over his little spiral notebook he was writing in and drawing in. Smeargle and Yungoos were asleep in his bed, covers tucked over the two of them. You couldn't help but want to 'aww' inside. He was so adorable. He was so passionate and serious about this. But whatever it was, it could Wait. You wanted to get this off of your chest and you wanted to do it now. Ilima stood up and walked in front of you. He extended the notebook, you pushed it back towards his chest.

"Actually Ilima, I need something from you first. I want you to put that down and open your hands so for me, please?"

Ilima looked in your eyes for a moment before nodding, doing exactly as he was told. The pink haired dreamboat tossed the notebook into his poofy office chair and opened out his hands. He watched in utter surprise as you took your everstone thst he gifted to you before and placed it in his palms. You kept your index finger on it. He just stared at the stone before realizing you probably wanted him to look you in the eyes while you explained. Ilima's gray eyes met yours and he watched you take a sharp breath in. What were you doing? Whatever it was, it clearly was bothering you.

"You gave me this everstone as a symbol of our everlastingl friendship. I never wanted friendship. I wanted more. So I am regifting this very everstone back to you ad a symbol of my everlasting love for you. Wether you reciprocate this or not is entirely up to you. But know I'll always love you and be your friend, Ilima."

That felt amazing to say, no matter how utterly cliché the entire thing was. It was a big weight of fun of your shoulders, despite your heart Pilsner in and aniticipwting whatever reply Ilima has to that statement. His eyes were hard to read. They almost seemed clouded, teary. He looked up and that statement appeared true. He was crying a little. Wait, did you do something wrong? Did you hurt him? You wiped his eyes for him, frantically, and opened your mouth to apologize. Before you could, Ilima took the everstone in one hand and used his left (his dominant) to grab your right hand from his face. He brought your hand down to his lips and kissed the knuckles. He let out a breath of a laugh, looking directly at you as a tear fell from his right eye.

"I was so worried you wouldn't ever love me back..."

Your heart wanted to shatter right then and there. He loved you too? He loved you too! You felt your lips overtake in a widespread smile as you fling yourself into his embrace. His arms wrapped alrind you're waist as you flung your own around his neck. You both were laughing out of the rush of emotion overcoming you two. You just took him in. His scent, his embrace, his tears falling on your shoulders, that heavanly laugh of his. You just took it all in and couldn't help but feel happy. He loved you too. He wanted you. He loved you so much he was crying. Now you were starting to cry the very same tears of joy. You two were made for eachother.

Your love will last longer than an everstone. It will last for eternity and beyond.

1397 Words

Yay! I got a decently sized oneshot to start the book off on! That was like an entire emotional rollercoaster. If you don't know, I just write with the flow. I get motivated and start writing. So when I start, I don't know how it will end. It allows me as an author to enjoy writing it more because I come up with ideas as I'm going.

Anyways, I hope you enjoyed that! I love you all and thanks for reading! Don't worry, another chapter and lots more should be uploaded right after this because I like to start with a bomb. Oh wait, it's supposed to be bang, not bomb. I cannot internet culture. Lol.
