Wednesday Afternoon rolled in, and the first day of November was just another typical shift at Snack Attack. I didn't know what occurred with Felicia, but ever since she reported for work, she couldn't look me in the eye, not even once.

As the clock struck 6:30 pm, I changed into my casual clothes: Pale pink headband, dark pink blouse, faded skinny jeans and weak pink flat shoes.

Admiring my reflection in the bathroom mirror, I combed my long yellow hair using my fingers and tossed my hair over my shoulders before exiting the ladies' room.

Bryce still has amnesia. He still doesn't remember who I am.

I slapped some sense into my cheeks while getting out of the comfort room. When I passed by the long counter lined with cash registers, I saw Sophia clock out, turn to look at me, and flash me an encouraging smile. She pointed one finger at her lips, then made a 'smile' motion over her mouth in a crescent motion.

"Aren't you commuting with me?" I asked my sister once I got close enough to her station.

Sophia propped her crossed arms on the counter and presented me with another supportive smile. "The doctor said Bryce would sooner or later regain his memories, right?" she asked.

I raised my eyebrow at her. "That doesn't really answer my question, but yes, that's what the doctor told us last week."

My bespectacled, brunette twin gazed past my shoulder. "I think it's sooner than later," she said with an excited smile stretching her full lips.

Slowly, I turned around to see a tall, brown-haired, blue-eyed male in a pale pink button-down shirt and blue pants. In his arms was a bouquet of stunning red stargazers and on his unfairly handsome face was a bright, familiar smile as he walked in my direction.

When he eventually stood in front of me, I stared deeply into his dark blue eyes. I folded my arms to prevent them from visibly shaking.

"What do you remember?" I asked him.

Bryce took a step forward and gently poked my forehead. "I remember you spilling juice on your white and orange shirt during the Orion Golden Anniversary."

I couldn't move. I still couldn't get my mind to focus. I was trying to even out my breathing but my heart was refusing to cooperate. The inside of my chest was beating so rapidly.

"That was an accident," I said, rolling my sky blue eyes at him.

Bryce smirked as he proffered the bouquet of flowers to me. "I also remember slamming a door on the back of your head throughout freshman year."

"What else?" I accepted the arrangement of stargazers from his hands. My heart raced when he held my chin between his fingers, tilting my face up to look at him.

"I remember you," he said. "I've been courting you for three months, and I'm going to continue courting you until you say yes."

"Love your confidence," I told him with a lazy smile.

"Are you busy?" he asked me.

"Hmm." I was still smiling. "I'm supposed to let my annoyingly handsome suitor give me a ride home, but you'll do."

Bryce laughed, then held my hand, intertwining our fingers, the sensation of his skin on my skin like the warmth of the sun after a year of winter.

Thank God his memories have returned.

After sending an informative text to my smitten sister, I changed into a a plain green shirt, inky blue jeans, and my trusty old sneakers. I swung by a cake shop and bought a mango-flavored round cake since I remembered Kayla and Courtney ordering mango desserts at the food court when we first met.
