It had been a few days. And with every passing moment, Keith felt the pressure to tell Lance his answer. It was kind of hard when he didn't even know what he wanted, however.

It wasn't that Lance was pestering him, wasn't that the taller boy was harassing him for an answer. Actually, it was quite the opposite. Lance had been acting completely normal with Keith ever since the whole incident. Well... normal for them. He still teased him at every available opportunity, and he still found random times to make out with Keith or get him alone. Feelings hadn't been brought up since the hazy, sleepy discussion.

Keith didn't know if he loved it or if he hated it. He kept teetering between his options, unable to decide which one he was going with. On one hand, Lance was really good in bed, and apparently cared about Keith a lot despite the short time they'd known each other. He enjoyed his company, and anytime they talked, there was never a dull moment. But on the other hand... Keith was scared. If he ever managed to make it out of the gang life, would things just end? Were they rushing things? Would Shiro be pissed? All those questions laid heavy on his mind as he sat atop his bed.

There was one thing he knew would help him. And it was called stress eating. Keith couldn't help but crave some snacks, and as well as some Netflix to take his mind off of things.

He'd been stewing in his indecisiveness for the longest time, and his mind needed a break.

Slowly, Keith slipped off of his bed, and Kosmo, who'd been chilling with him, followed in his footsteps. The husky was very eager to follow Keith everywhere, and Keith couldn't help but wonder if it was because of the kidnapping. His dog had a way of always being there, and he didn't doubt that he had the capacity to feel guilt.

Either way, Kosmo accompanied him on his journey down the grand staircase and toward the kitchen.

To say the very least, the mansion's kitchen was giant. The counter space was beyond belief, and there were plenty of appliances that Keith couldn't even come close to understanding. Their functions were a mystery to him; the kitchen was Hunk's domain for a reason.

Two things Keith knew for sure were obviously the refrigerator and the pantry.

He walked into the pantry, eyeing all the dry goods and the abundance of snacks. He decided to grab a bag of Chex Mix before coming back out and seeing Kosmo waiting for him with a wagging tail.

Once Keith opened the fridge to find a drink, he could hear Kosmo's paws clicking on the tile and walking away from him. Keith peeked out from behind the door, seeing Lance coming in. Clearly he'd just been working out. That much was obvious from his muscle top and shorts. There was a bit of sweat dripping from the very front of his hair, and Keith bit his lip, ducking back into the cold air and trying to look busy.

" You wanna toss me a water?" Lance asked, smirking at Keith while leaning on the counter.

Keith blushed, really feeling the one sided tension. Lance didn't have to do anything at all to make him flustered, oh no, the smaller boy achieved that all on his own.

He grabbed a bottle of Fiji water and used an underhand toss to get it to Lance, who caught it with one hand.

" Thanks~" Lance cooed, looking as smug as ever while cracking it open. Holy hell did he look especially hot after a workout. Keith had thought about exercising to distract himself, but he'd put it off. All it did was remind him of Lance.

" You're welcome..." Keith told him quietly while pulling out a Vitamin Water and shutting the door. He leaned back on the fridge, looking over at Lance with a light layer of red dusting his cheeks. He fiddled with the drawstrings on the oversized Fall Out Boy hoodie he wore, not knowing what to do with himself.
