Eddie's POV:

"This is soo gay!" Nate yells as he gets shot down by three people.

"Pass me the remote." Richie says reaching towards his hands.

He tosses the remote to Richie who barely catches it. Richie starts a new round and after a few minutes gets into a fight. He starts anxiously tapping on the remote, then Nate says,

"You gotta use your shot gun."

But Richie continues to do it his way and gets killed.

"Don't ever use hand canons, they're gay." Nate says as he reaches for the remote.

"Shut up before I suck your dick." Richie says laughing. "No homo." he adds.

"Jesus Nate, do you ever just shut the fuck up?" Tris asks almost yelling.

Nate turns to him and just rolls his eyes. They continue playing and yelling for almost half an hour before Tris says,

"Wanna go to the family room?" Tris says annoyed by Richie and Nate.

"Yea." I say getting up with him.

We walk together to the family room and as we walk in Richie's mom and aunt both leave the room satisfied the new Christmas tree they had just put up. Me and Tris sit on the sofa side by side and I ask,

"Is he always like this?"

"No he can be nice when it's just me and him." he says stretching his legs.

"Yeah, same with Richie. He's sweet when we're alone." I say blushing.

"Are you and him dating?" he asks confused.

"Umm... No? We're just friends." I say trying to lie.

"Whatever you say." he says reaching for the TV remote opening Netflix. "What do you wanna see?"

"Whatever."

"No chose something." he says passing me the remote.

I scroll through then finally decide on Girls Incarcerated because I always cry when I watch it. I guess cause it's kinda relatable in parts with dysfunctional families. I play the second episode and scoot closer to Tris. I feel my eyes tear up as the scene where Najwa finishes her time but has no guardian outside to take her. I try to low key wipe my tears but Tris sees me.

"What's wrong?"

"Nothing let's just keep watching." I say still wiping my tears.

He nods and puts his around me which surprisingly makes me feel better, but just minutes later Nate and Richie come running in with a huge blanket. I turn to Nate who sighs as they throw themselves on the sofa. Richie rolls around laughing with Nate for a couple for seconds but then sits next to me, Nate throws the blanket over all of us then asks,

"What show is this?" Nate asks.

"Girls Incarcerated." I say in a soft voice.

He surprisingly doesn't make a bitchy comment and watches with us. A couple minutes in I feel the blanket shuffling and Richie grabs my hand under the blanket. I try to put her hands over the blanket but Richie keeps pulling the blanket over our hands. I aggressively pull my hand away and move away from his body. Confused he reaches for my hand again this time more sincerely but I still pull my hand and leave the room. I storm to basement with tears dripping down my face and lock myself in his bathroom. I sit on the floor and just think. I mean I get his cousin is homophobic but he didn't have to say he was gay. All he had to do was defend me, but instead he ignored it and even went along with it. God I fucking hate him sometimes. I hear a gentle knock on the door followed by Tris's voice saying,
