"Have you seen our friend Jack?" I asked as we got to our room. Marcus had been silent all the way here, and I was finally just breaking it.

"No." He said matter of factly. "But if he's out going into prohibited rooms then he is in big trouble."

Katie flopped down onto the bed as soon as the door opened. I took a seat on the arm of the sofa that was in the room. Surprisingly, Marcus walked in behind us and closed the door. The serious look on his face wasn't a good sign.

"Did you touch any of it?" He asked. He didn't need to explain himself, we knew what he meant.

"No, just looked around." I lied, knowing full well we basically tried out every weapon in the room.

"Good." He said, shoulders relaxing a little. "You aren't to tell your parents of what you saw."

I frowned. "Why not?"

Marcus didn't give me a verbal response. Instead, he looked me in the eyes and shook his head slightly, almost like a warning. I gulped and nodded my head. After that Marcus smiled thankfully and then left our room without saying another word.

"Okay," Katie said sitting up on the bed. "Something is definitely wrong with that man."

"Who do you want me to fight?" I asked suspiciously.

Adrian's jaw clenched in annoyance. "It's not you who should be asking the questions. All pack members must learn how to fight, it is vital for our survival."

"He's weak Alpha." One of the men still holding me scoffed. The man's voice was deep, but lacked the Spanish accent of his leader.

I tried to wriggle myself free but failed. "That's cause two of you are holding me you imbecile!" I spat.

It was Adrian's turn to scoff now. "A well trained werewolf would be able to take these two men down within 5 minutes, maximum. You're weak."

"The girls are back in their room, I have made sure they don't say a word to their parents about what they saw."

Catalina breathed a sigh of relief down the other end of the line. "Good. Now I need you to go to the CCTV room and delete the footage of the family coming in through the front entrance"

"Why do you want me to do that?" I asked.

"Because we can't let the Alpha know about the parents. If he finds out they are with them, he is going to assume-,"

"That they're werewolves," I finished her sentence.

"Exactly, and we can't allow that to happen."

"So what are you going to do with the mum and dad?" I was making my way into the CCTV room as we spoke.

"I don't know, we'll figure that out soon."

"Go back to your room, we'll start training first thing tomorrow."

That's what Adrian said before he left with his two men. Solomon didn't really show the emotion on his face, but I could tell he was pissed off. This wasn't his plan.
