Chapter 28

Erika's POV
When Jake left the room everyone looked at me.

E: what?

A: you might wanna go talk to him.

I handed Mike Nia and went to go find Jake.

I found him in the hallway next to the elevators he was sitting with his head in his hands.

E: Jake?

He looked up at me then stood up.

J: hey, uh sorry for leaving I just needed a brea-

E: what's wrong? You've been acting all funny since we got into the car.

He took a deep breath.

J: do you want to have a baby?

Oh god.

E: uh no

J: Erika.

E: I mean I've thought about it

J: oh god.

Jakes POV
What my girl wants is what my girl gets. After I saw Erika holding Nia I wasn't even sure if I didn't want a baby anymore.

J: if it wasn't a sin would you have a baby with me right now.

E: maybe, I don't know. I want to start a family in the future with you of course but sometimes I just think would god forgive me if I did it now. But I never told you because that's not the type of pressure you just throw on a person.

J: I really don't know where this conversation is going.

E: I'm sorry I freaked you out.

J: I freaked out because when I saw you holding Nia I wasn't sure if I didn't want a baby anymore and it scared the living crap out of me.

E: just maybe one day.

I kissed Erika cheek then hugged her.

J: *sighs* I love you Erika

E: I love you too Jake.

We went back to the room.

M: you good Jake?

J: yeah I'm good now.

Erika's POV
Sunny whispered to me.

S: is he actually okay?

E: hopefully

S: what do you mean?

E: I can't tell you sorry

S: it's cool

E: can you take my car with you?

S: you gonna stay with Jake?

E: yeah

S: I gotchu

E: *smiles*

I went over and hugged Jake with my head on his chest.

J: you ready to go?

E: mmm yeah I'm tired.

J: alright guys we're gonna go congrats and we'll come check up on you guys

Jake grabbed my hand and we walked out.

*Jakes house*

Jake was laying down in his bed with no shirt and some sweats and I was changing into a large t-shirt and short shorts. You could barely see the shorts.

J: hey you hungry?

E: yeah a little.

J: let's go on a date.

E: I would really love too but I'm too tired to get dressed.

J: no just a little date at like Taco Bell or something. The only thing you'll have to do is put on a sweatshirt.

E: alright let me get my sweater.

I went to my bag and pulled out the sweater Jake gave me and put it on.

J: you look cute

E: lying is a sin Jake.

J: yeah I know but I'm not lying.

I looked away from Jake because I hate it when he sees me blush.

I soon felt Jakes arms wrap around my waist. I leaned back onto his chest and Jake kissed the side of my neck one time.

J: you ready to go?

E: yeah I guess so.

Me and Jake left the house and went to Taco Bell.

I put my hood up because I saw some kids from my school and being bullied is way worse than being called Ms. Perfect.

E: I'll find us a place to sit you get the food.

J: alright.

I found us a place to sit and sat down waiting for Jake.

J: your food.

He handed me my food and sat down with his. I put my head down and prayed I'm assuming he did the same.

E: did you pray??

J: yeah but a short one.

E: well thanks for the food.

J: it's the least I could do after having Dan pay $2,000 for me and Logan to get out of prison.

E: I'm so tired

We quickly finished our food and went back to Jakes house.

We went into the room and I took my sweatshirt off and Jake took off his shirt then we both got into the bed.

J: I love you Erika goodnight

E: I love you too Jake goodnight.

Right after that I was out like a light.
