Chapter 38

Erika's POV
I'm sitting in class, next to Jake while his arm is wrapped around me. I'm looking at houses since I have nothing to do and he's learning. I would give him all of the answers but that won't help him.

Then I saw the one. The most beautiful family looking home ever.

E: Jake look at!-

Smith: shhh

The whole class looked at me.

E: oh gosh I'm so sorry.

I sat back in my chair and Jake kissed the side of my head.

*whisper voices*

J: what did you want me to see?

I showed him the house.

J: love the house it's beautiful. But how much does it cost?

I looked at the price.

E: um the house isn't that cute. I'll just find a different one.

J: Erika come on how much is the house?

E: *sighs* $450,000

J: do you know what the inside looks like?

E: no but it probably cost that much because of the furniture it comes with it.

J: try to find another house and ignore the price. I don't want one that already comes with furniture. That's what other people want it to look like I want to make it our own.

I looked at Jake on the verge of tears. I'm so freaking emotional.

J: are you about to cry?

E: you're so awesome and so nice. I love you.

J: I love you too but you don't have to cry.

I kept looking and looking until the bell rang.

*Erikas Locker*

Jakes POV
Erika shoved her head into my chest and I let out a groan because she literally slammed her head into my chest.

E: this is so stressful.

J: how about we take a break and we can look together at home okay?

E: yeah

Erika put her hands up the back of my shirt while she hugged me. She always does this.

E: I think I'm gonna go home. I'm kinda tired.

J: you want me to come with?

E: no I'll be fine

J: you sure?

E: yeah I'm sure *smiles*

Erika smiled at me then gave me a small kiss.

E: I love you

J: I love you too.

Erika was walking away and I held her hand until we couldn't reach each other anymore.

It was lunch time so I went to my table and waited for the squad.

M: yooooo

(Btw Jaliyah is older than Mike that's why she doesn't go to school)

J: hey

Dang I sounded depressed.

A: yo what's wrong?

S: and where's Rik?

J: nothing's wrong I didn't mean for it to come out like that and she went home because she was tired.

A: alrighty then.

S: I can't believe that I have to just sit here with you three boys.

I was just in my own little world. Thinking about Erika. Something just seemed off.

A: Jake you good?

J: Mike do you think I should've went with her??

M: I mean was she only tired.

J: that's all she told me but something seemed off.

M: Jaliyah did that, she wants you with her but she also feels like you're stressing to much about the baby so she'll just go bye herself for awhile.

J: so do you think I should go or what?

M: yes

A: run to her Romeo

S: you're an idiot. Romeo and Juliet we're forbidden lovers and ended up dying because they couldn't be together. Jake and Erika are far from forbidden.

A: whatever just go Jake.

I got up and left I need having to walk to Erika's we didn't even discuss how I was gonna get home.

*at Erikas*

Angel gave me a key so I just went in and went to Erika's room and she wasn't there. Then I go back outside and realize the car isn't even there.

So I decided to walk to my house.

Once I got there I went inside and up to my room and there was Erika all cuddled up in the bed in a oversized hoodie. The hood was up because it was quite chilly.

I took off my shoes and got an extra blanket to lay on top of us and got into the bed.

J: babe

She opened her eyes slowly.

E: what are you doing here?

J: because I know you want me here.

E: you told you that?

J: I learned this from Mike.

E: Jake go back to school.

J: look me in the eyes and say you want me to leave.

Erika just moved closer to me and wrapped her arms around me.

E: I'm going back to sleep.

J: you do that then.

I laid down really close to her since her arms are wrapped around me and went to sleep.
