1.3 "Friends?"

Next morning.

I yawned and woke up. I felt some arms around my waist and remembered last night.

I sighed and turned around to face Severide. He looked so good even though he was sleeping.

Severide " stop staring"

I took a deep breath and sat up.

He opened his eyes " what's wrong ?"

Me " you're still here ?"

Severide sat up" yeah I figured leaving in the middle of the night wouldn't be the best idea because.."

Me " because we slept together "

Severide " because you are ...you "

I nodded.

He took a deep breath " listen-"

I shook my head " I don't wanna talk about it, Kells"

Kelly " but we have to."

Me " It was one night, okay? no need to make a big thing out of it"

He nodded "okay"

I wanted strings attached but I know him and i don't wanna get heartbroken.

He and I walked out of my house.

Kelly " need a ride ?"

I shook my head " no thanks "

Then I walked to my car and froze " what the actually hell ?"

Kelly walked to me " what ...whoa ?!"

My car was damaged. Broken windows, broken wheels and my color was scratched.

My jaw dropped shocked " what the hell ?"

Kelly looked around.

I breathed out annoyed" that car was new !! Not even a month old "

Kelly asked amused " you need a ride now?"

I nodded " yeah. Why not ?'

He chuckled.

I shot him a look "this is not funny at all"

He just smirked.

At work.

Severide and i walked out of the car and into the house.

We walked into the group room.

Shay hugged me "morning?"

I nodded "morning"

Casey looked at me "Flo"

I looked at him and froze "Yeah?"

Casey nodded his head in a direction and i sighed.

Then we walked into his private room.

It was awkward since he and i haven't really talked since the break up.

Casey gestured for me to sit but i shook my head.

I took a deep breath "how are you doing'?"

He shook his head "please, Flora, i think we are way past the awkward-talk, don't you think?"

I breathed out relieved.

Casey "how was Florida?"

I nodded "great"
