"It's Over"

Next day. Morning. At the Firehouse.

I was packing my stuff.

the blood test results weren't back yet but i needed some stuff i had left in my locker.

Casey walked in, confused "Flora"

I looked at me "Matty. "

Casey "i thought you go, uh,.."

Me "suspended? yeah, you can it. It's not a bad word"

Casey nodded and sat down on the bench.

Me "i heard your old pal Kannell transferred from Squad 6 to Squad 3?"

He nodded "correct"

Me "and the CFD allows a 6 men Squad?"

Matt nodded "Chief hopes so.."

Me "I don't wanna sound paranoid but don't you think it's too much of a coincidence that i get suspended and a new guy gets my spot?"

Casey "Severide would never -"

Me "what? kick me out of the Squad? i don't know if you have noticed but Severide and i aren't really on good terms right now."

Casey "then talk it out"

I shook my head"i can't"

Casey "why not?"

I shrugged "because it is not that easy, Casey. "

Casey nodded "it is, if you wouldn't make it so damn hard"

I scoffed, offended "why the hell is everyone on my ass now? Kelly is the one losing his temper and i am the one who suddenly has to talk to him? why don't you talk to him, hmh? and let me in peace"

Then i slammed the locker door shut, grabbed my bag and walked out.

At the police station.

I walked over to Jay's desk "Hey, stranger"

Jay smiled at me "hey to you too"

Then he eyed me and his smile dropped "what happened?"

I asked amused "oh you haven't heard? I am drug addict now and got suspended"

His Jaw dropped "what? wait-what?"

I nodded "Funny story actually. I asked Kol if he killed my mother. And not even a day later someone had sent a photo of me doing lines"

Jay eyed me "were you?"

I shook my head, annoyed "god no, Jay, I would never. It was edited to make it look like it was me"

Jay nodded "that's what got you suspended. "

I nodded "yep"

Jay nodded "He got scared and wanted to get the attention away from him"

I nodded "Well, it worked. "

Jay nodded "obviously"

I sighed frustrated "Jay, I don't know what to do anymore"
