"Convince Me "

Next day. Morning. In front of the firehouse. 

I was waiting for Jay to pull up. I don't know how it happen but i somehow forgot my phone in his car last night when he drove me home. 

I saw his car pull over in front of me and i smiled.

He got out of the car and smirked with my phone in his hand. 

Me "thank god"

He handed it to me. 

Me "thank you so much for driving it over. Thank you"

Jay nodded "No worries"

I turned around to leave. 

Jay "Are you rushing to get away from me again"

I turned to him and sighed "Listen, my last relationship didn't end really well. And-"

Jay "So i guess this is good-bye forever?"

He held his hand out. 

I slapped his hand away with my phone.

He chuckled which made me laugh. 

Me "i owe you one"

Jay "a marker. I like that. What's it good for?"

I shrugged "come to Molly's tomorrow night and find out"

He smiled and shot me a wink. 

I smiled and walked back into the firehouse. 

The second i stepped a foot in the alarm went off "squad 3, Ambulance 61, car in water. 330 West Lower Wacker"

We jumped out of the truck. Kelly and i were already in the suis-

Police Officer "Driver lost control and barreled right through the guard rail"

Kelly "Anyone come up?"

The officer shook his head "not since i got here"

Kelly "how many in the vehicle?"

The officer shrugged "no idea"

We walked to the water and the only thing you could see was the bubbles. The car was sinking while the water filled it up.

We secured Kelly and he jumped in.

Me "Clarke, give him a tug"

Kelly wasn't showing any signals which is making me worry. 

Clarke tugged on the rope. 

No response.

Me "again. something's wrong"

Clark tugged on the rope "rope's caught on something"

Suddenly the pulled it back in but Kelly wasn't hanging on the line anymore. 

Clarke "He's off the line"

Me "Fuck!"

Suddenly the two  of them showed up above the water and i breathed out relieved. 

Capp put a ladder in the water and we pulled the guy up. Gabby and Shay took care of him. 

I looked at Kelly "What happened down there? you okay?"

Kelly snapped "yeah. I'm fine"

I raised an eyebrow "Lose the attitude"
