Mr. & Mrs. Kelly Severide

A few days later. At Chief's office. 

I was sitting on the couch while the Chief was sitting behind his desk. 

Me "Well, for what i -"

Suddenly Kelly walking inside, happily "Chief, good that you're here. you have a second?"

He completely ignored me. 

Chief smirked at him "Vegas!"

Kelly "yeah ,man! yeah"

The he sat down on a chair. 

Chief "you look good. Looks like the trip was good or you"

Kelly smiled "yeah, yeah, Vegas was great. You know, played a little craps, hit the pool, got some sun, and, uh, yeah"

He showed Chief his hand. There was a ring on it. 

My heart dropped. 

Kelly "i got married"

The Chief froze before starting to laugh. 

My jaw dropped. 

Chief stood up and walked over to Kelly to shake his hand "congratulations"

Kelly "yeah, sure, thank you. Hey, is Mouch here? i need his help to put her name on all the insurence"

Chief "you're serious?"

Kelly nodded "yeah, i got married"

I drove a hand through my hair and stood up "i need some fresh air"

Then i walked out.

I walked into the group room and saw everyone looking at me. 

Me "looks like you he already told you"

Hermann "so you had to bail on the Vegas Trip. See, this is what happens when he's left to his own devices"

Me "how was i supposed to know Capp had already bailed on him?! "

Capp "i told you-"

Me "yeah, i know about your mom's yard sale, okay?!"

Gabby walked over to me amused "whew. Just think, you almost went to Vegas with him. That could've been you"

I shot her an annoyed look  mhmm"

Casey stood up and walked to the restrooms. 

Suddenly the alarm went off "Truck 81, Squad 3..."

The Chief walked into the room "Florence, you have a second?"

I nodded "sure"

Then i followed him into this office. 

He closed the door behind me. 

Me "what is it, Chief?"

Chief "so, Severide is married, huh?"

I shook my head "no, god no, not happening, okay? i'm not gonna talk about it"

Chief "Florence"

I shook my head "no, okay? he's...Well, he's Kelly, so"

Chief sighed "i know you have feeling for him"

I shook my head "god no, Chief, i don't feel anything for him"

He shot me a look "mhmm, sure"

I rolled my eyes and leaned back in the seat .

Boden "i just wanted to let you know that i'm here for you, okay?"

I nodded "thanks"
