"Come Back "

I groaned out when i heard every single peeper go off.

The Chief was screaming through the radio "come in ! anyone from Firehouse 51 ! come in! Report! Squad 3!"

I groaned and stood up "Chief. Florence here. Roof collapsed. We'll need assistance"

Kelly stood up and waled over to me "Flo"

I nodded "i am fine"

Capp grimaced in pain  "what happened?"

Kelly "propane tanks from the top floor. squatters cooking on open flames. I jumped for the stairwell"

I nodded "same"

Kelly "all right. Spread out. get eyes on everyone"

They spread out. 

Kelly yelled  "Casey ! you hear me!!"

Casey "yes, down here "

We looked down through the hole in the ground. 

Me "you good?"

Casey nodded "yes"

Kelly "all right, we're coming down"

Then we slowly climbed down. I saw one by one getting on their feet. 

Hermann yelled "here ! one man down!"

We all rushed over there. 

Otis "Mills!"

They shoved the concrete off of him. 

Me "easy"

Mills groaned and sat up. 

Kelly "easy, Mills"

Mills cried out "my leg"

Casey "Let's make him a splint. Dawson, Shay? come in"

No answer. 

Me "Chief. Mills may have fractured let. "

Chief "we got more of everything coming. Can you get him out of there?"

Kelly "i think so"

They tried to move Mills but he just screaming in pain. 

Chief "any eyes on Dawson or Shay? I can't reach them"

Everyone tensed.

I rushed round "Shay ! where are you!?"

Casey yelled "Dawson! Shay?!"

The three of us rushed down stairs while the others took Mills out of the building . 

Me "Shay! Gabs!"

I heard Gabby cry out "come on, Shay, come on"

I rushed over there and saw Gabby trying CPR on Shay who was unconscious on the ground. 

My stomach dropped "oh my god"

Gabby "blow in the head. Compression"

Kelly fell to his knees next to me. There was blood underneath's Shay's head. 

I checked her pulse. There was none 

Gabby "Switch on three with me, ready? one..two ..three"

Kelly started to pump her chest while Gabby did mouth-to-mouth.

Me "come on, Shay"

Kelly "Shay, please"

Shay wasn't moving.
