 I asked confused "where are they?"

Chief yelled "Let's go round back! To the river!"

We got int he trucks and drove around the building. 

We got out of the trucks and looked around. 

Chef "Where are they?"

I yelled " Casey!"

Cruz "Severide!"

Hermann "There!" 

We looked at the river. Casey was swimming around. 

Kidd "Where's Severide?"

Casey yelled "Severide!"

Kidd " I got Severide! "

Kelly was floating lifeless on the water. 

Kidd !"Kelly! I'm gonna harness up and get him, Chief."

Chief " Otis, extend the aerial."

Otis "Yeah, copy."

Casey "Severide!"

Chief "Casey, come to shore. Kidd will get him with the aerial. Squad, get him out. Get him out now."

Cruz walked to us with a ladder and we held it out to the water so Casey could climb up. 

The others tried to get Kelly out. 

Casey climbed out and Toni handed him a towel. 

Kidd got Kelly out of the river. 

I walked over to them, nervous. 

Kidd "Kelly?! talk to me"

Kelly wasn't moving. 

I whispered "come on, Kelly. "

Cruz " Come on, Lieutenant, talk to us."

Suddenly Kelly coughed out water. 

I breathed out relieved. 

Kidd smiled relieved. 

Kelly "Uh, Casey. Where's Casey?"

Cruz "He's good."

Kidd " He's fine."

They helped him up. 

Kidd hugged Kelly. 

Kelly looked at me and i looked at Casey who looked at me and then at KElly. 

Kidd "What the hell were you two thinking?"

Kelly coughed out "We weren't."

Brett wrapped him in a blanket . 

Zach wrapped Kidd an an Blanket and hugged her "That was incredible."

Kelly looked at them and then at me. I looked at Casey who was starring at Kelly. 

Next day. at the firehouse. 

I was hanging out with Gabby and Brett who were doing some ambulance inspection. 

Me "Ladies"

Brett smiled at me "hey, how are you doing?"

Me "dying inside but besides that, peachy"

She chuckled. 

Brett " I heard from Hope."

Gabby asked surprised "Oh, you did?"

Brett "Yeah, she sent me an email, said she's back in Fowlerton. She wants to drive up and have lunch so she can mend fences."

Me "What did you say?"
