Philipp's POV

"What happened?", Michael asked with his calmest voice, approached Sara and laid a worried hand on her shoulder. She avoided direct eye contact.

I can tell from here that it took Michael's whole strength not to get angry. He was shaking far worse than I had ever seen him get riled up.

"Who did this to you?", he asked calmly, yet again, cupping her chin and raising her head so we could see properly.

"Good god", it escaped my lips before I could stop myself. "I'll get an ice packet and a first aid kit." "We are staying here. Hurry."

Dear god.

I tried to shake off the shock and grabbed everything blindly. Who would do such a thing to her? Why would anybody do that do her?

The blue colour of the medicine bottle made me see Sara's face in front of me again, even though I tried not to recall it.

A bruised lip. A black eye, a dark blue colour, turning violet at the edges. A swelling lump on her forehead. Her pale skin, that was usually a bit darker, was as white as a sheet of paper.

My hands and feet were shaking as I hurried back to them.

Sara was sobbing into her hands. "I didn't want you to see me like this", she sobbed. "It happened so so fast!"

"I would have seen it either way", Michael tried to speak softly to her, but you could hear his annoyance. "What did you plan on doing? Avoiding me until it goes away?"

She shook her head. I kneeled down and handed her the ice-packet. Sara took it sobbingly. "I didn't want you to know immediately, because I know you would have rushed out after them."

"Naturally!", Michael barked, causing both of us to flinch. "They hurt you! For no reason!" "Where and how did this happen Sara?", I asked her, seeing her scraped knees now.

Sara swallowed deeply. "I was going down the street, picked up my lunch. I almost reached the company when I was ambushed." "Who ambushed you?", Michael intervened.  "Three man", she responded with a shaking voice. "One held me. One punched me.  The third one took my bag."

Michael and I exchanged a look. Three guys just to steal somebody's handbag?

"What was in the bag?", Michael spoke, placing his hand on her knee and ripping her tights apart. He reached for the first aid kit to disinfect her wound. "My phone", she breathed harshly, now done crying. "The change of my lunch money. That's it." "Keys, wallet?" "I left that in the office.I only take my money and my phone with me when I leave the company to get lunch", she hiccuped.

"Is your phone password saved?", I asked next. "Is it relocatable?" "Yes. And I honestly don't know." Sara tried to get rid of the mascara on her cheeks. Michael's eyes flashed sadly as she winked in pain. "I'll get the police involved", Michael promised her. "Did you see what they looked like?"

"Only two of them", Sara whispered. "As the first one held me from behind, I caught a glimpse of his face. It was scarred. He was bald. I think he had blue eyes?", she went to carefully touch the lump on her forehead. "Then I got punched here by the second guy. Brown hair. Brown eyes. Taller than me. Both were. An American I think. He ... I think he had a tattoo on his neck, but I don't know what it was."

Michael bandaged her knees and moved to her lip. "The third one?" I didn't understand how on earth he managed to stay this calm so far. I would have crashed everything around me. "I didn't see him", she met Michael's eyes and a soft sob escaped her lips. "H-he tugged at my bag and I was hit again- I-I was-I didn't - I was so scared-I thought-"
