Nighttales is a pacifist creature the Player can encounter if they fall down the gorge in the starter room and survive. Nighttales will happily greet the Player and resquest they help him search for his favourite food, which is worms. Should the Player help him at the price of searching for gross slimy worms they will gain Nighttales as an ally and he will help them navigate the ground breather tunnels. Should they refuse, he will be their friend anyways due to his kind nature but he'll be a sad chicken and a lot less talkative. His weird voice aside, he may or may not have a tale or two to explain just what is going on in this messed up world, so it will be in the Player's best interest to help him find those worms.
