the next morning, it was boring. i woke up late but i stayed in bed since it's been a while since i've been able to actually sleep in like a lazy kid.

there wasn't any music so i know jiro is probably downstairs, chatting with the others. i bury myself in the sheets and pillows. my body is so tired and it's hitting me right now. i hear a vibrating sound and look around to find my phone but that isn't what was vibrating. my phone is still charging and silent.

the vibrating continues and i force myself to get up, looking around my room. the drawer closest to the door had a phone laying on top and propped up to face my bed, vibrating. i grab it and look at the phone screen.

whose phone is this? my mind goes back to last night and a sudden rush of fear makes my body tingle. i press the home button but of course it's locked. weird it's not a set of numbers, it's a word.

should i tell someone? who, bakugou? he's just going to start yelling again. uraraka or one of the other girls? i don't want them to freak out about an intruder or peeping tom but isn't this something to freak out about?

i open my door and leave it on the side of the hallway and quickly close it. i run back to my bed and grab my phone. who should i tell?

me
someone was in my room last night and left their phone.

i hear footsteps near my door and go back the way they came. i want to look but i'm scared. i'm scared my assumption of the intruder is right. i wait ten minutes before peeking out and seeing the phone is gone. my phone vibrates but it's a message from ashido.

ashido
hey wake your ass up we're going into town to do shopping 👁👁 we're leaving in like 30 min

i stare at the text and close my door. i go to my bed but then i hear footsteps running and yelling. they bang on the door and i go and quickly open it, getting pushed away by bakugou.

"where?! are they gone?!" he yells. "where's the phone?!"

"shut up!" i say. "you're not even supposed to be here, how did you get here?"

"nobody was guarding it and i took out the cameras," he says, looking around the room. "where's the phone?"

"i-i left it out and they came and took it" i say.

"damn it!" he sighs. "i shouldn't have broken the cameras... what did it look like?"

"it was just an iphone with a black case," i say. "it had notifications about their parents and a reminder to... back up some files about me."

bakugou glares at the ground. i can't tell if he's thinking.

"alright we'll tell the girls on this floor about it-"

"no! i don't want to freak them out or upset them" i say.

"you sound stupid," he says bluntly. "they can help you and catch the shithead."

"let's just wait," i say. he scoffs and shakes his head. "maybe this is just a one time thing."

"and if it isn't? what if he comes back? then your stupid ass is going to get yourself killed because i know your attacks aren't even trained," he says. i look down in embarrassment. "can't you use your head and think?"

i don't say anything and continue to stare at the ground. he makes me feel so stupid. i just don't want anyone to worry, i want to handle this myself so it can be dealt with and be over, so why did i text bakugou? for some bogus protection or advice?

"just get out," i say. "i'm going out with the girls and i need to change."

he scoffs and walks out without a word. i close the door and lock it.

if it's really him, he's starting to reach a limit i fear he'll pass.
