mr. aizawa hands out our belts with only one flag. all might even comes and we all wave at him and greet him. midoriya basically becomes the sun at the sight of all might.

"hello everyone!" he says, laughing. "me and mr. aizawa have a reward for the team who wins which will be said after this!"

"yes and no extreme pummeling" mr. aizawa says.

"or just not too much blood" all might chuckles. "now! the girls will get a thirty second start!"

he signals for us to go and we start running and we use our quirks to get farther. me and uraraka stay close together while we go into a building that's the farthest. we hear the alarm go off and my heart starts to beat rapidly.

will he come for me?

"it's okay," uraraka says. "i'm here."

i smile and we go into the building and at the window. i see the blaze of bakugou's quirk and even the small lines of sero's tape. it looks like sero is coming to us.

"we should get higher," i say. "or to a level where we can jump to another building."

uraraka agrees and we race upstairs at a very decent height. it seems like this building is just stairs. there aren't any rooms. i wonder how the others are doing. uraraka peers out the window and a long piece of tape is shot through the window, almost catching uraraka.

"get down!" we both get on the floor and go towards the stairs.

"uraraka!" sero calls out. he's coming for her? "where are you?!"

"what do we do?" uraraka asks.

"i'll lead him away and you go to the other building" i whisper. "i'll meet you there."

uraraka hesitates but she gives in. uraraka almost floats up the stairs and i wait for sero to approach the window before running down the stairs, loudly.

"hey!" i'm slammed to the wall by a piece of his tape and he runs down but stops. "oh y/n."

"you got me good" i laugh. i wait for sero to take my flag but he doesn't. "aren't you going to take my flag?"

"no i'm going for uraraka," he says. "someone else has their eye on you."

"what?"

"yeah todoroki asked me to separate anyone that was with you so he can win some bet with you" he says.

"wait what?"

"he said you bet him 2,000 yen he wouldn't catch you" he says. he's lying to classmates now?

"he's lying, sero, i am not his friend" i say, trying not to panic. "we haven't been friends for a long time."

sero looks at me confused.

"why would he lie?" he asks. "he doesn't seem like he would."

"it's true now please take this off" i say. sero nods and fortunately is nice enough to take the tape off. "thank you so much."

i give him a quick hug before running downstairs and peering at the windows. i stop and open one of them before climbing out. i don't see uraraka anywhere. the whole setting isn't very active right now. there aren't any explosions or anything. are they inside the buildings as well?

"y/n!" i look towards my right and down to see bakugou in the building next to mine. "you're fucking deaf!"

i give him a confused look before i feel a hand on my shoulder. i quickly turn to see todoroki with a serious expression.

"hey" i didn't even think about it. i threw myself off the building and the sheer look of horror on his face made me a little happy. i look towards the ground coming closer and wait a bit until growing three globose dwarf japanese cedars out of my palms. they drop to the ground, almost denting it, and i fall into them.

todoroki's head remains out of the window, staring back at me in shock. bakugou has already made it out of the building and towards me. i tug myself out of the cedar plants and he runs towards me. i cover myself but nothing comes at me. opening my eyes, i see bakugou holding my flag.

"never let your guard down, you fucking stupid ass" he says.
