"Before I go, I better see improvement in your drumming of the song. If it's not that, then figure out why you're distracted." I said, closing the door behind me.

I wonder why he didn't say anything or said any remarks on me. Did something happen? He is not acting himself just now. Either way I'm worried, as a person and a rival.

"Hey mom, I'm home!" I said as I close the door behind me, taking off my shoes at the entrance.

"Izu, I'm glad your home safe! What would you like to eat for dinner?" She asked, peeking in from the living room.

"Katsudon" I replied as I untied my tie, heading upstairs.

"Again? I'm going to make fruit salad as a side dish. You know eating katsudon for every dinner is bad for you, you know?"

I sigh. "I know mom but I love it!" I grinned as I go through my closet to find myself a white T-shirt that says 'Flannel Shirt', and some shorts and boxers.

"Mom! I'm going to shower real quick!" I shouted so she can hear me from downstairs.

I heard a muffled 'okay' as I entered my bathroom. I stripped then I turn on the faucet, checking the right temperature, as I got in.

As I'm showering all I can think is Kacchan.

He wasn't like himself ever since I pinned him on the wall. And what was that glow in his eyes and the sudden tune of my song in my head? Was he that shocked when I have this sudden confidence when I had that outburst on Kacchan like that? Wait, why am I worried anyway? I'm his rival, not friends, but rivals.

I sigh. Either way, I'm still worried, it's not like I like him or anything.

Later on I finish showering, drying out my hair, as I got out the bathroom with a towel wrapped around my waist.

As I was about to reach for my clothes I heard a 'ding' from my phone that is placed on my nightstand. I reached for it as I unlock my phone to see the message is an unknown number.

Hey Midoriya.

Who the heck is this person?

I quickly typed as I changed into my clothes. After I did that I heard another 'ding' from my phone.

It's Todoroki. I asked Uraraka for your number.

Huh? Todoroki? Why would he want my number?

Oh, hey Todoroki! 😊 Why did you want to text me btw? 🤔

"Izu! Honey, the foods ready!" I heard a muffled voice downstairs assuming it's my mom.

"Alright! I'll be there!" I shouted as I stuffed my phone in my pockets as I headed downstairs.

I entered the dining area to see the food placed on the table. My mom grinned. "Let's stuff ourselves with my delicious food, yeah?" She joked as I let out a chuckle. "Thanks mom." We did our quick prayer as we stuffed food at our faces.
