You hummed to yourself as you walked through the hospital halls, until you suddenly bumped into someone. With all the doctors and nurses rushing past you to get to where they needed to be, it was likely it was any of them.

You were ready to apologize profusely despite your hurting voice, but then you felt a bit of déjà vu as you looked up and stood in shock as you realized you bumped into a man none other than Hizashi.

It took awhile for you to register that, since he was completely different from the last time you saw him.

His hair was down messily and his glasses were crooked. He wore a simple shirt and jeans, and Trinket flew into his hair at the sight of him.

He was still as handsome as you remembered, except he had a guilty and concerned look on his face, and he had two crutches supporting him. He held a bag in one of his hands along with the crutch.

"Hey," Hizashi greeted, giving you a small smile.

"Hizashi!" You returned it happily, throwing him a hug, careful of his injuries. "How's it going?" you asked, getting back. "I see the doctors released you pretty quickly."

"Yeah, your quirk helped keep any major damage from happening," Hizashi explained. "And since I'm a pro hero I was treated specially."

"Sounds unfair, but cool," you replied nonchalantly. "Glad to see you're back and fine. You look like me when I'm tired, though."

"Cute?" Hizashi joked nervously. You paused.

"Cute." You giggled. An awkward silence happened between you two until Hizashi broke it.

"You're... you're not angry?" Hizashi murmured, scratching the back of his head.

"At what? You missing the event?" You laughed, more to yourself than him. "Of course not, you were busy with the kidnapping, a meeting, and whatever happened last night. You're a fucking hero."

Hizashi flinched. You didn't mean to sound so angry and sarcastic at the end.

"It's fine," you murmured. "Sorry."

You and Hizashi stood by the walls of the hall so you wouldn't get in the way of the workers.

"'Why are you apologizing?" Hizashi asked. "I'm the one who's supposed to be sorry." His expression was desperate. His eyebrows were in a high, concerned, mountain shape and his emerald green eyes showed guilt.

"I promised!" Hizashi continued, blaming himself. "I—!"

You cut him off with a hug and a kiss on the lips. He shut up immediately, shocked. His eyes widened as yours closed.

"It's fine," you repeated once again when you broke away from each other. "I don't forgive you for missing out on the concert, but I'm not angry."

He at least tried, you thought.

Hizashi, speechless for the first time, wanted to hug you again out of happiness, but the crutches didn't allow him.

"What are you going to do with the song?" Hizashi asked.

"Dunno, most likely going to publish it on YouTube if you're okay with it."

"Of course, go for it!"

You and Hizashi started walking towards the exit.

"You going to explain what happened last night?" You walked slowly for Hizashi. "Were you helping with the rescue?"

"Well...." Hizashi started. "Bakugo was saved a few hours before I was injured. I was heading to the concert after the meeting but I was—"

"Emergency!" a nurse called.

"Room 0823!"

Your mind blanked at the two calls. Emergency at room 0823. That was Rina's room. The other calls and shouts with medical terms and jargon you didn't understand flew by your head as you rushed back to Rina's room, ignoring Hizashi.

You were stopped by two nurses that held you off. You watched a few others go inside Rina's room. "What happened?" you demanded. Your eyes were wide with fright.

"[Y/N] [L/N]?" a doctor asked. "Rina had a small heart attack."

"Small?!"

"Don't worry about it, we're figuring it out." The doctor's eyes glanced behind him as Rina was rolled away. "I know you're very close to her, and we're trying our best to help her."

"It's been almost a year!" you shouted angrily, closing it. Your eyes brimmed with tears again. "And you're still 'figuring it out?' Looking for a cure to this unknown disease or something?"

The doctor didn't answer and the nurses gave you a sympathetic look.

"Take me to Rina as soon as possible," you demanded, trying to calm down. You rarely shouted, and your throat was burning from using your quirk, talking, and shouting.

You heard clacking behind you and turned to see Hizashi heading towards you, Trinket in his hair. You took a deep breath and let it out, walking away from the nurses and towards Hizashi.

"Are you okay?" Hizashi asked, his scrunched up worried face returning. You shook your head, rubbing your throat.

There was a long silence as you walked home without your earphones in and Hizashi trailed behind you.

When you arrived, you stopped at the door and looked back at Hizashi. "I'd.... I'd like to be alone right now," you told him quietly. You looked at Trinket that was in his hair. She reminded you of Rina.

"[Y/N]," Hizashi started, attempting to follow you in.

"Shut up," you muttered, not saying the nicer way.

"[Y/N], look, I'm sure Rina's fine. If not, I can ask if—"

"I said I'd like to be alone right now," you snapped at him. You walked into your house and closed the door behind you without saying goodbye.

You slid down to the floor, the tears you held back finally falling. "What is wrong with Rina?" you murmured to yourself. "Why can't they help her?"

You whimpered to yourself, asking questions you did not have the answer to.

You slowly got up and wiped the tears from your face after a while. You went to your instruments room and sat down at the piano.

You put two hands on the keys, and tapped your fingers lightly. You started playing River Flows in You. The duet with Hizashi helped cheer you up. Perhaps it wasn't just the music, but because it was with him.

You played the solo version. You suddenly hit the wrong note, and stopped. You furrowed your brows, annoyed at the mistake. You've played this plenty of times since the duet and could play it perfectly. You started the song again.

Eighth notes in beams, tied notes with a dotted half note and tied with eight to sixteenth notes in beams.

Then at the same time with the left hand: eighth notes in beams and a simple quarter note, repeat, then slur into whole note. Repeat that, and then—your fingers twitched and pressed the wrong key, interrupting the tune.

You tried again, and again, and again.

Frustrated, you stopped playing and let your arms rest at your sides. You sighed, running your fingers through your hair, pushing it back.

You literally couldn't play. You glanced at the computer and thought about writing more, but dismissed the thought immediately. No motivation, no ideas.

You stared up at the ceiling, trying not to think of all your problems. You turned your head towards the window and saw dark clouds in the sky.

What to do.
