"Sleep."

"Five more minutes."

"You said that five minutes ago."

Usually people would want five more minutes to sleep, but right now, you didn't want to. You were working hard on the music video, and somehow got inspiration to go work on your novel. You wanted to write before you lost that motivation.

Hizashi had a problem with that, considering you've been doing that for six hours straight and it was now almost midnight.

"Five more minutes!" Trinket mimicked you.

"Man, you are non-stop," Hizashi muttered.

"You broadcast music between midnight and five."

"That doesn't mean I'm up at those times! And I live on caffeine."

"I'm worried about your health."

"I'm worried about yours!"

You stretched, yawning. "I'm not that tired," you said, contradicting your actions. "It's not even that late."

"This is my house and I decide when you sleep."

You were in Hizashi's house, since he was closer to the school than yours. You pondered a bit, leaning back on the chair. Hizashi put his hands on his hips and sighed.

"Does music help you sleep?"

You nodded. "Have you noticed how I've almost always fallen asleep when you sing to me? It's so charming and soothing."

He chuckled. "I'll show you some songs, see if it makes you tired."

Music was something you loved, so you couldn't exactly argue with that. You had just finished a chapter, so you lazily got off the chair to let Hizashi access the computer better.

Instead of going to YouTube, he opened his files to look for certain songs. "These all yours?" You asked.

Hizashi nodded. Your eyes glazed over most of them, but one caught your attention.

"Okinawa Soba?" You read. "What's that song?"

"That's one from a long time ago. Don't worry about it."

"How long ago?" Your hand moved to his hand that held the mouse.

"Middle school." He shook your hand off his. "Don't worry about it."

Now you were curious. "Let me hear it."

"No." Hizashi clicked the file and pressed delete.

"Hizashi!" You, only slightly keyboard-savvy, pressed control W, tabbed to the recycling bin, enter, selected the deleted file, and pressed enter again. You were glad he kept his recycling bin empty. You restored the file and managed to open it to play.

Hizashi, watching in trance, only reacted when the song file opened to play. He moved the cursor over to close it, but you lightly blew into his ear, tickling him, and causing him to flinch.

Trinket, now your accomplice, knocked the mouse away and unplugged the headphones with her beak so that you could hear. Plugging the keyboard out as well, you heard Hizashi groan and cover his face in his hands as the song started.

[A/N: Song sung by Hizashi's VA, including some other people. (I've listened to his songs so much that I could recognize his voice and I'm not sure if that's a good thing xD.) English lyrics will be at the end of the chapter so that you can see how funny it is, at least to me.]

"This is a song about soba," you stated slowly once the song ended.

Hizashi nodded, the tips of his ears red. You never knew he could get embarrassed, especially from a song.

You burst out laughing, making Hizashi jump. "Care to give me the context?" you asked between laughs. "School band?"

"School band," Hizashi confirmed. "We had to make a song and we liked soba and I was a teen okay?"

"What's wrong with that? I love this!" You pressed replay with the spacebar. "This is amazing!"

"[Y/N]!" Hizashi groaned, reaching for the mouse. He got it, but didn't close the window.

"Chuuru churu churu," you sang along, trying not to laugh. Your shoulders shook as you held back the laughter. You could tell whose voice was Hizashi's, since his voice was the least deep. "Hizashi, you are a wonderful, amazing, awesome man."

"Shush up." The song ended again, and you begged him to play it again. However, with a flustered shake of his head, he closed the window. "This plan went the exact opposite way of what I was hoping for."

You decided to change the topic to make him forget about getting you to sleep. "I've been thinking, why don't we go to that karaoke party again? Not tonight, but some other time to just have some fun."

"Hell yeah." You noticed his green eyes sparkle at the idea of karaoke with you. That got him hooked. "We should do duet songs."

"Yes!" You clapped your hands excitedly and sat on his lap on the chair, as you were too tired to keep standing. "Anything You Can Do I Can Do Better?"

"Left Brain Right Brain?"

"Cup song?"

"The Other Side?"

"Our own?"

"Yes! Collab!" Hizashi struggled to turn the chair back towards the computer with you on him, but just barely managed. "Mashup or what?"

"New." You paused. "But I need to finish the music video song first. I've heard of bands separating into successful solo artists, but never solo artists into a band. You think we could be like that?"

He shrugged. "I think you're doing fine by yourself as a successful musician. We could kinda do it?"

You hummed in agreement, thinking. Hizashi kissed you on the forehead.

"We can work on that tomorrow morning. "You go to bed, please?" He gave you puppy-dog eyes.

"Only if you come with me." You kissed him, wrapping your arms around his neck.

"You want to have it that way?" Hizashi grinned, standing up and carrying you in his strong arms. You nodded.

"One way to tire me out."
