"Sorry mom...."
"SORRY?This has became a scandal!You won't see him again for like....forever maybe?"
I turned the corner and saw my mom shouting at my sister,probably because of the scandal.
Deciding it's best to avoid my mum when she's angry,I tiptoed to the other side.
But she's my mother after all.
"Victoria!Faster please!"
I tiptoed faster to the other side and once I was out of their line of sight,I sprinted to my room.
"Victoria!How lovely it is to see you!"Arthur said,using what we call 'the you're-in-trouble tone'
"What did I do?"
"I told dad-who was running,actually-that you didn't finish your homework."He smirked proudly.
"Why did you do thaaaaaaatttt?"I whined
"Because you took my superhero figurines!"He said in a 'duh' tone
"I took them because you took my dolls!"
"You want then back?"
"DUH!"
He threw two dolls at me : now,one was bald,and the other was broken.
"MOOOOOOOMMMMM!!!!!DAAAAAAAAADDDDD!!!!ARTHUR RUINED MY DOLLLSSSS!!!!"
Narrator pov
Victoria stomped out of the room.Her dad ran over to her.
"What's wrong Vicky?"
"THOMAS BROKE MY DOLLS!"
"SHE TOOK MY SUPERHERO FIGURINES!"
"BECAUSE YOU TOOK MY DOLLS!"
Nicholas tried to calm down his children,and in the end decided to leave them to it as he spotted his angry wife marching over to him.
"VICTORIA!ARTHUR!Arguing over something so stupid?"
Seeing their mother,the children froze.
"I'll do my homework."
"I'll fix your dolls."
"I'll give you your figurines."
They ran inside their room to do their chores.
And all that was heard
Was Amelie's laughter across the hall.
