ELLA SAT BY CARL FOR DINNER, the pair drawing a picture together on the same page while they waited for Patricia, Jimmy and Maggie to bring out the food they made for everyone while waiting for Rick, Hershel and Glenn to get back from that pub Maggie thought her father would be at.

Them being gone this long felt like what it did when they were waiting for Andrea, Glenn, Morales, Meryl, T-Dog and Jacqui to get back from Atlanta. But this time it was ten times worse than the last time, it made Ella's heart race every few seconds when she remembered they were still gone.

"They should've been back by now." Andrea spoke up as she and Shane entered the kitchen to join everyone else and eat the food with them.

Ella stopped drawing the picture she was drawing to gaze at her father to hear what else he had to say about the four people who left way earlier and still weren't back.

Shane sat down. "Maybe they're just holed up somewhere," he sighed. "We'll-We'll head out first thing in the morning," Patricia placed the food in the middle of the table. Shane cleared his throat. "Thank you."

Ella smiled at Patricia and scooped herself some food, slapping it on her plate. She picked up Carl's plate and scooped a spoonful of the food on his. He gave her a nod when she handed it back to him.

"Carl, I think you should keep your head up, okay?" Shane told Carl who nodded. "Your father. . . he's the toughest son of a-"

"No cussing in this house." Patricia scolded.

"Sorry."

Ella bit back her laughter.

"Lori! Dinner!" Carol called upstairs, her hand holding the railing to the stairs and her foot sitting on the bottom step.

Maggie turned in her seat. "Oh, she's not in there."

Ella raised her eyebrows. Lori usually never left Carl's side for too long, unless something extremely bad happened to her.

"Where is she?" Dale questioned, thinking the same exact thing Ella was.

No one answered for everyone just realized they hadn't seen Lori almost all day today.

The last person to have seen Lori was Andrea. But after that no one had seen her, not even Ella who went outside minutes after Lori left everyone with Beth to take a nap in her and Shane's tent.

Shane leaned into the table, his heart racing. "Carl, when was the last time you saw your mother?"

"This afternoon." Carl shrugged.

Andrea closed her eyes tightly as she just realized where Lori could've gone after they had a small talk about Beth and Lori asked Andrea to look after Carl for her. "Lori was worried sick about Rick, she asked me to look after Carl."

"Oh no." Ella immediately whispered.

Shane widened his eyes. Dale swallowed thickly, "She went after them?" he questioned.
