ELLA HAD GROWN to like Brandon quite a ton during their trek in the woods. He seemed like the weak kind of person but he held his own whenever they came across a small group of walkers but she was the weak one now. And he was very sweet towards her, he never said anything negative to her, not even when she told him about hiding Carol's little secret of killing his close friends. She kept it to herself for everyone else in the group would've reprimanded her and probably called her selfish for keeping such a secret from everyone for days. She'd grown accustomed to the kindness he showed her.

She was happy Brandon ended up in Woodbury then came to the prison with all the other residents of Woodbury. If he didn't, she would probably be alone and she didn't like being alone at all. The thought of it scared her. If she would ever end up alone, she'd sit down and cry for she would die. Brandon was helping her survive. She might've only been alive because of him. She probably would've stayed at the prison, rocking herself back and forth like the little scared girl she was before she was brutally killed by walkers or by the Governor's new people. He already saved her countless times from walkers and from guilt gnawing at her broken heart.

But maybe she would've been smarter if she were alone. She didn't actually know what she would do if she were alone until it happened.

Her legs were burning with sensation from the walking, the running, the killing. She was tired of it all, she just wanted to sleep again or to sit down and rest for a moment to get her energy back for the day. If she could collaspe on the ground she would. But Brandon would just pick her back up and they would continue on their journey to wherever they would end up soon. She knew in her entire being that he would do that. He wasn't going to leave her anytime soon. If something happened and they had to split up, they'd find each other again.

She stepped over a fallen tree, being careful where to step next in case there were walkers nearby and they heard her snapping a branch. She didn't want to deal with walkers again right now. They were too much of a hassle. She was covered in blood because of them and that literally made her so very sick due to their putrid stench they gave off. Their rotting teeth, skin, hair. . . she hated even looking at them. She couldn't wear their blood for long if they got caught in a predicament of a horde nearby and wanted to be able to get past without doing much to them.

Though that could be how they didn't have to deal with walkers.

Ella rubbed her blood stained hands together as they continued walking through the woods, staring at the blood of the dead who were once people full of life, humanity and there was still tons of the emotions inside of them. She stayed behind Brandon for he had a better sense of if they were walking in circles than Ella did. She barely even had a perception of time right now compared to Brandon. She looked up at the sky, seeing it was still bright out so that meant they still had lots of daylight left to be walking out here in these shady woods.
