PUSHING A PIECE of fabric into the washing basin, the brunette caught wind of the two new people being ordered around by her father. She narrowed her eyes on the paler man, noticing his shirt had a large pizza on the back. A pizza dude guy. Imagine if he was the dude who delivered pizzas when everything went down. Ella wouldn't want to be him if that were true. Her brown eyes lingered on him for a few seconds, before she looked away to continue washing clothes. "Are those the new guys up there?" Ella curiously asked, though she knew the answer, she just wanted to hear someone say it so she knew she was right.

Carol squinted her eyes, squirting a dollop of laundry detergent out into her wash basin. "I think so. They don't look familiar." she clarified. Ella spared another glance to see the pizza guy was carrying buckets to a table while the dark skinned man was breaking off branches from the nearby trees.

A smile broke across Lori's face as she was hanging clothes on the clothesline. "I think our girl has got a crush on the new guy." she teased. All the other women — Jacqui, Amy, Andrea, Miranda, and Carol — let out whistles, whoops, or laughs. The teasing wasn't going to end. . . like ever now that they decided she had a crush on the innocent new guy.

Ella scoffed, making eye contact with Lori. "I don't. I'm just curious."

Lori looked the pizza guy up and down, tilting her head side to side with a small smile. He had jet black hair, olive skin, brown eyes. One could sense he had a kind aura about him just by taking a look at the fellow. "He is cute. He seems a little innocent. . . but I could see why you're checking him out." she said.

Bewildered, Ella shook her head. "No. I'm not checking him out. I'm wondering. Like is he nice? Is he going to kill us in our sleep? Did he deliver pizzas? Is he funny? Did he go to college? Is he nerdy-"

"I'm gonna shut you up right there," Amy interjected, her hands waving over Ella's mouth. "Why don't you go talk to him?"

"Because I'm not a weirdo."

"Well you're being a weirdo." Andrea chortled, folding clothes across her chest.

Ella rolled her eyes.

Lori held a laundry basket to her hip, stepping toward Ella. "Go help him out. Get to know him. Become friends. You need more than just Amy, Sophia, and Carl to hangout with." Lori shoved the basket into her lap, shooing her away from the wash basin. "We can handle the laundry. There's barely any left."

Sighing, Ella marched up the hill to the campsite. She sat the basket down by the RV. She waited for the guy to make his way back to the remaining four buckets, then she approached him. "Hey," she smiled. "You need a hand?"
